I was going to make the above.
Are those the % of each needed to make it?
So if I'm making 10ml total,
I'd mix 0.7ml of No.5,0.1ml of chocolate-INW and 0.05-0.1ml of AP?

Would a hot bath and mixing flask help mix or is shaking sufficient?
I have jewelry scales that measure 1/100 of a unit.

That is exactly correct for a 10ml batch.
0.7ml of No.5,0.1ml of chocolate-INW and 0.05-0.1ml of AP? I like my mixes a bit on the strong side so I personally use 7% but I would suggest you start the No.5 at 5% (0.5ml) and work up. The rest of the flavors should be fine where they are.

To steep the mix a hot bath is OK but using a crock pot set to low for 3 hours works far better (See my blog on steeping). Also if your going to use heat to steep re-bottle the mix in a glass bottle that you can cap. A mixing flask which is open at the top (No cap) is not good as you'll loose flavor to evaporation. Also the glass bottle you choose should be approximately the same size as the amount of juice being mixed to reduce the amount of air the mix is being exposed to during the steep process. The bottle should be at least 75% filled leaving no more then 25% air space.

As far as the symptoms you described earlier You mentioned you may have narrowed it down to flavoring BUT Did you try vaping just the base with no flavoring and did those symptoms still happen?

If it does happen with just the plain base it may be either the VG, the PG or the brand of NIC used. So to narrow it down even more vape just the VG alone and if you get no symptoms then try just the PG alone. If still nothing then maybe try switching brands of NIC. Also recheck your calculations for nic strength. To strong a NIC strength will cause those symptoms. Use an e-juice calculator to help with the calculations like the one below.

I'll have to split order and get flavors from BC and other supplies from wizard labs.
I've got everything I need except I'd like to make at least one fruit flavor with and without menthol. As long as it doesn't have black liquerish in it.
Is there a simple fruit flavor like melon, berry,or apple.I like just a touch of tartness.

Finally got the order out.Looking forward to trying plain vg pg with nicotine and TriBeCa clone.
When I start getting reactions I end up using real tobacco.
I got a few concentrated flavors, dragon fruit,a western tobacco, and a strawberry that I think I can just add a few drops once base is made.

I've been noticing if I use single coil tanks like kanger subtank mini, kayfun 5,and rose 3 I get less side effects.
I may have to give up dual coil RDA and other cloud chucker tanks.
Some RDA go through 4ml in less than an hour whereas 4ml in a flavor tank can last much longer.
I like flavor but I like the buzz from nicotine better.

Well I don't really know what to say to that except the buzz chasing is what's likely getting you sick as you mentioned.

Dizziness and ringing in the ears. Also, weakness, energy loss and runny nose.Sometimes after I vape some flavors I feel weak and tired.

Most around here vape to say off cigs and not to get buzzed from NIC. So sadly this is where our conversation ends. I don't support vaping to get buzzed.

I reduced nicotine to 1.5mg and 0mg same effects but ringing in ears might be less.
I tried 6mg and sweats, nausea and @ 1.5-3.0mg those went away.So nicotine might not be the culprit.
Halo is tolerable but this last batch I got is so sweet I'm suspecting there was a reason it was over 50% off.

Most of us started with 18mg and 24mg juice vaping at 10W. Higher wattage needs lower nic levels. 3mg is popular for cloud vapers these days. I'm at 3mg/ 10 watts by choice because insurance companies view any nic level as a smoker. They don't mind Nicorette, so I can just tell them that must have been what caused it if it shows up at low levels in a Cotinine test.

Sweet is one of the attributes of a liquid that hasn't steeped enough. Vendors in a hurry may make it and ship it a little too soon to get orders out the door orders. Let the Halo juice sit for a week and try it again.

I can vape 6mg no problems if the liquid is halo, unless I chain vape.If I vape too fast with 6mg I get a different variety of symptoms.
The symptoms I'm getting now on certain flavors is very different and it happens with 0mg.
I don't think it's the nicotine and I'm down to 1.5-3.0mg,depending if I want more nicotine.
There's one flavor that I could feel my throats closing, had problems walking and it luckily it was short acting.
I have a few best guesses, but starting from ground zero I think is the best approach plus I've been wanting to DIY just a bit too busy.
Orders are on thier way so hopefully in a week,I can say it's not pg,vg or nicotine related.
Since it's taken up through lungs, then directly in blood,I don't think a regular allergy test will be 100% accurate.
It may not be an allergy but simply too much of a certain flavor.
Looking forward to process of illumination.Elimination.lol.

I got my orders today and I can vape 100% vg or pg with 12% nicotine without the reactions.
12% is a bit on the strong side but this can rule out pg,vg and wizard labs nicotine in both bases being the additive that causing the unwanted effects.12% is too much of throat hit on a dual coil RTA and can make ones head swim a bit but nicotine isn't causing dizziness, stumbling or narrowing of the throat.
I can say I do enjoy the taste of plain vg,pg and nicotine with no flavor and the stimulant effects of nicotine.I wasn't expecting vg to be so sweet and I thought I had a sensitivity to pg,which may show later, but pg is not causing the reactions I was having.
Next Ill start trying different ratios of pg and vg keeping mg level constant, then add one flavor at a time and vape until I'm convinced it's safe for me to use.
    To be continued:

Glad to see you taking the time to go through the steps and evaluate each ingredient separately. Rule-out is the best way (maybe short of quitting ;)) to identify any problem components. Stick with it; remember that "slow and steady wins the race!"

I'm also glad to here that the unflavored is pleasant for you. There are more than a few of us that vape it in regular rotation or even exclusively. I have also been finding it benefitial as I switch back and forth between flavored and unflavored in the same tank. I am finding I like the lightly flavored effects of the first tank of unflavored that immediately follows a tank of flavored. As a result; I am starting to reduce the total flavor percentage in many of my recipes. Also, if I am mixing a newly found recipe, and I think it is too strong/over flavored, I can easily pour off half a mil and add a quarter to half mil of the unflavored and see if dilution helps swing it into my wheelhouse.

Not really sure how to un-sweeten the VG. It definitely has a sweetness to it, but it is not unpleasant to me, so I have had neither the need nor desire to try. I know people will use malic or citric acid to add a sour note to their mixes (like TFA's Sour, FA's Sour Wizard, Wizard Labs' Super Sour). Or you might try a couple of drops of lemon juice or vinegar.

    Thanks

I can't tell a difference from the authentic and the DIY version.
I put a tankful in my subtank mini last night vaped until it tank got a bit warm then let it sit for close to 24 hours for a steeping effect.
I'm not getting the chocolate yet but I don't get it in authentic until it steeps for a few weeks.
I bought a 15ml vial from vape shop today and I may prefer DIY over authentic.
    Great recipe.
