The Boge's will be a lot better for you IMO. Just fill a couple and put the condoms back on them. No leaks. I like the tic-tac box idea. I use a small battery box to carry mine in. 50/50 juice will work just fine. I even run 100% VG in a couple but I have to rotate them around so the ones I already vaped on can wick back to the coil.

The image below has always been one of my planned ideal setups, a pocketable e-cig with removable batteries. (As we don't always stay at home.) You can always bring a couple of batteries with you as well as pre-filled cartos. Everything can be placed in small containers. 14500/900mah batteries are equivalent to Egos and battery life is about 4-6x longer than slim e-cigs. But I'm still looking for smaller, but tubular alternatives. 2AA box mods are still unnecessarily big, but no doubt one of the best options if you want a small device with removable batteries.

Trying to think ahead of time... How do I know if my liquid is too thick for cartos? I forget what I ordered... I think 50/50 pg/vg? Not sure though. I have vodka, but worried about ruining a carto because its to thick? Any ideas

I've been using 50/50 on my Boges and everything works fine :)

Is this one small enough for ya:p

It uses a 10440 bat, and the carto is inside the bat box.
The mod cost $2.20 to make.

Where can I get that, tj? What's the mah ratings of 10440 batts? I've seen that picture before and I've always assumed it's the 2AA box one.

It's a 2xAAA box, and the bat is marked 600mAh (but we know that's a lie)
You will have to make it yourself. I believe madvapes has those boxes for $.99

Here is the same mod beside a Sd key ring

The SD has a 300mAh LIPO battery.

I switched to the Boge cartos with my eGo and it was like night and day. I use a 75vg/25pg DIY mix and it works great. after my initial fill on my boge I top off with a 30ml bottle I carry with me. If I'm going to be in the car for a while I just make sure I fill before I go. It's no more hassle than making sure I had enough analogs on me like before. I have a carrying case I keep extra juice batt and carto in and keep close (in my coat or center console) but generally just my PV and the 30ml bottle.

The battery mah rating got to be at least 650mah just like my Ego, which is remarkably small. You really don't need anything smaller. Adding a Boge 2ohm carto on it, it's not much bigger than a slim e-cig. The downside is the battery is not removable. That's what I'm looking for, being able to carry charged batteries with you is a plus.

The 14500 has 900mah rating, so the 2AA box mod has the strongest attraction for me at this point, unless there's a better equivalent.

A tiny production PV is: THE SD KEY RING E-CIG BY TROG (510 threaded)

Not sure what the underlying battery is, though it's supposed to be 300 mAh. More should be coming in, they reordered quickly.

I got one last week, it's pretty sweet with a 2 ohm boge :)

Haha that thing just needs a micro SD slot and it would be the perfect emergency kit.

Most people only use cartos for flavors they like enough to vape for the life of the carto, then toss the carto and start a new one. Many can get 7-10 days use out of each carto. Avoid juices that drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing to get the best life out of a carto (juices with sediments are usually opaque or cloudy and often but not always dark). And keep them damp. I use thin clear juices, PG w/ 20% or less VG (30% works too, I just think the carto's performance degrades slower with less).

If you are going to carry prefilled spares, put the caps on. And then if you want you should be able to fit 4 Boges in a little plastic 4AA case (cheap on Ebay).

I use manual sealed batteries and just add liquid to the carto as needed to keep it from singeing. I use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece and that is easy to remove to check the stuffing or add liquid.

---- how I fill Boges and other 1ml cartos

The carto has a 1ml capacity. You need to aim towards putting 1ml in. I hold a tissue on the threaded end hole (or put a carto cover's spike in the hole), tilt the carto and drip in 18 drops (waiting longer for the first few to soak in), Then I wait 15 seconds. Then I see how many more it will soak in easily (usually 3-6, occasionally more).

Then I clean it up - clean threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue and puff into threaded end to clear the air channel, then while still pointed down I just touch a soft bit of tissue to the top of the stuffing to sop up excess (to help prevent leaks).

Then I let the carto settle. I use juices with 20% or less VG so 15-20 minutes of laying it on different sides and on end is plenty of time for every bit of stuffing to get damp.

While vaping - any time the vapor seems light, dry, or tastes the tiniest bit off or loses flavor, or if the caro is getting abnormally warm, I add liquid. I also occasionally look at the stuffing (especially before putting a fresh battery on or before going out) and if the top of the stuffing looks white, I add some juice. No settle needed when just keeping the carto damp. And if you do not keep it damp or if you use juice that is too thick (too much VG) you will singe the carto and that adds a bitter taste. I use a simple plastic or delrin drip tip in place of the end cap so it is easy for me to remove that to look at the stuffing or add juice.
