It's not likely the tank itself it giving you the trouble. Sounds more like the cartomizers you got, to me. I've never used the Provape cartomizers so can't really comment about them, though. I have had very good success with Boge and with Ikenvape. I punch my own, but have used the pre-punched and they seemed to work okay, too. When I punch mine I put one hole a bit higher on the tube (one in the standard place down low) and at an angle or even opposite from the lower hole. Seems to help.
I vape very very heavily and run through a minimum of 10ml a day...so I work my cartomizers HARD. Generally the Boge and Ikenvapes can hold up to non stop heavy heavy vaping for around 7 to 8 days for me. I use a mix of 85%PG to 15%VG. Only one flavor....so I'm not switching out or anything. The Smoktech kind work...but the lifespan for those cartos is much less...maybe 2 or 3 days.

Yeah it would be the cartos, not the tanks themselves.
I keep checking the ikenvape website for the 510 mega Punch series to be back in stock because you're one of several to recommend them. Hopefully when I get paid again... lol

All of my tanks are from Welcome to Valley View Vapes - Your Home for Quality Inexpensive Tanks and Vaping Supplies. They are either Pyrex or Polypropylene with Boge 510D SR or LR. I find them simple to use, cheap, easy to fill and the cartos last me from a few days to 5 months. I use 80%VG juice and the vapor production is super!
I agree.. valley view vapes is where I get my cartos. I use boge 2.0 cartos and they have been very solid. They will punch them for you as well as test them prior to shipping. I never have problems with my 60/40 mix juices. Might give them a shot.
If you don't have problems with a 60/40 then I wouldn't think a 50/50 would cause a whole lot of difference. I'll probably hold off on getting new tanks unless I can get a cartomizer vaping properly and lasting more than 1-2 days in the tanks I have
If you are near Valley View (ie. Dallas), maybe you can pick some cartos from http://www.valleyvapes.com/ The owner is very accommodating. You could even try the pre-punched ones and use Scotch tape to run around the carto to block the holes.

OK.. so I now believe that the cartos sold by Provape are Boge.. at least based on the packaging I got compared to the packaging of some Boge that I saw.. I've heard mixed reviews on these things. Some are saying they're the best for thick liquids, some say the worst.
I'm really just getting way too frustrated for something that I should be enjoying..
I've been priming and filling cartos for both tanks and regular cartos for quite a while, so I'm fairly positive I didn't screw up there. I didn't overfill the tanks themselves.. I was using the proper voltage range for the cartomizers.. One had an pure PG liquid.. one had a pure VG liquid.. and others were all 50/50 from EC Blend. I think its HIGHLY unlikely that I obtained a 5 pack of cartomizers that were ALL bad.. so I'm at a complete loss for what happened here. Another person here on ECF and myself thought Provape was probably selling Smoktech cartos from their site, but now I'm thinking its Boge.. and I refuse to go with either one ever again until I find out. That's if I even decide I want to keep using tanks after the stress this has put me through. I'm ready to trash them all and buy a Vivi Nova to be honest.

Tanks are the best thing since sliced bread when they work but when you have issues like this it can nearly drive you mad. Keep your head up and good luck. I love carto tanks too but have spent some time in your situation and nearly lost my mind trying to figure it out.
