With Warps connector and everything? I am so excited. Make a list of parts and supplies and Do a step by step instructions with pictures. Keep it simple and this will be the ultimate that everyone can make themselves. I can't thank you enough my friend.

Her step by step is what made me want to look into modding myself.....well not modding "myself" i think i work just fine lol...but to BEGIN modding....plus you guys on the forum are just so much fun....im in the military and when im deployed i get on these forums and just read and learn away!

Navy here, so i guess im deployed to wherever the ocean takes me....lol....my last couple deployments have been out to the gulf....internet on the ship....ahhh soo slow....

That I am...at least when I'm home on vacation - I work with .mil, so I'm 'deployed' as well, so to speak.
Texas original here as well, thank you stormy, with you having family in im sure you know how the leaving all the time is not fun....at least i get to work out of hawaii....tis always a plus...but the shipping out here sucketh....im working on getting my modding gear and having to order is from different places and pay the shipping for each is no fun

Funny thing....i am one of the ET's lol.....so i have access to all of that gear whenever i want it....but i cant bring it home or i wont have it at work....and who wants to come to work on an off day to play around??? haha but hey when i used to be an engineer i would have taken it if i could get my hands on it!

Needle nose pliers
Side cutters
Wire strippers
Soldering iron, solder and flux
Drill with step bit, or normal bits and a round file for making holes.
That's basically it, for most of the mods like nicosticks and the like. For flashlight mods you might need some more stuff, I'm unsure.

Well im excited to start....im going to assume that if thats all i need then home depot is my friend...
Mod boxes are not that hard, $12 to $15 in parts, and about 20 minutes to put it together. My hardest part is the battery connector on the phono plug, a real PITA . But I am vaping on a 4xAAA box right now with a 901 atty using 3 AAA rechargable NI-MH batteries, works great. I also have a 4xAA box set-up the same (those were my first), and a 2xAA box with a single 3.7v 14500 battery, this is my favorite and I have more parts ordered to make a couple of more. I also ordered some regulators from TI ( 5ea free samples ) to try a 5v mod using 2ea 3.7v 14500 batteries.

That's all you need for nicostick-type mods. Well, as far as tools go... still gotta get the batteries, chargers, etc... the batteries are the most expensive part!!
