Hey guys so I'm new to the vaping scene and I'm getting into building RDAs and learning and what not. I made a list on eBay with the things I think i'll need to start up. What do you guys think? Do i need anything else before I order all this? Or do you guys recommend different things. Thanks in advance.

I would strongly advise against buying your batteries off of EBAY I would also suggest buy them form RTD Vapor orbatronics or light hound as all of them sell legit batteries
You just dont know what your getting from Ebay
hear are a few links to get you going.

Read a little bit over these before but now that you mention it I will definitely read over them again. Thank you for the advice.

No problem are you looking at Mechanical or regulated mods?
Mechanical. I want to start to mess with it. Kind of interested in learning how to build the coils and such.

Looks like a good list. People will tell you to be very afraid of those purple efests, but I'm not one of 'em (have 4, work great for my applications).

Only thing I might suggest is pick up some 26/28 gauge kanthal in addition to the 24. 24 is kinda big to be your only available kanthal.
Will do, sounds like a good idea anyways!

get your samsung 25R batteries elswhere for around $6.
get yourself an xtar vp1 or vp2. it will likely pay for itself. IMO it pays for itself in security alone knowing it's not going to fail catastrophically.

good luck
I'm such a n00b lol I just had to look up what that was. But awesome i'll look into it, I had no heard of that charger.

I also have the 35A purple efests. I don't treat that as CONTINUOUS, but rather a PULSE rating. I usually consider my efests about 1/2 the listed, and then, only build to about 1/2 of that. I don't have a lot of fear when I'm Tootle Puffing on those batteries. I don't build below 0.5 ohm. As jambi suggests, grab a bit of 28g kanthal. I'll occasionally twist it to simulate "thicker" wire (and to get more surface area :)) Become VERY familiar with Ohm's and Watt's Laws. Read Baditude's blogs. Test your builds BEFORE you fire them, but test-fire to make sure you're not getting any hotspots....

Building coils are phun :D

and i advise people to get batteries i know work and are appropriately rated by the mfr. that way there's not confusion. the 25R is a stellar battery at a great price.

if you want to try efest a little later, by all means, go for it. but check with the forum to make sure you're buying what you think you're getting. they have a habit of relabeling and inflating specs.
