I've gotten so much good info from the board, thought I'd share this (tho it has likely been posted before).
Have been vaping a short time and recently had the flu which resulted in a bad cough. I was trying to stay hydrated - drinking lots of water. I just couldn't seem to really hydrate and vaping became pretty uncomfortable.
Others have recommended the sports drinks, etc. for the electrolytes, and they really did help but were getting fairly expensive.
I live on the high plains where it's very, very dry all of the time and cold right now.
I remembered something I'd done a few years ago and did it again: I bought a water purifying pitcher and added celtic sea salt to the water. This drink has made a world of difference because it adds minerals and electrolytes to the water. I can feel that I'm really hydrating.
The general recommendation is 1/4 t of celtic sea salt to 32-64 oz of good water. It's slightly salty but not really disagreeable to me. Give it a try if you're having trouble feeling hydrated.
