It's a technique. :)

Basically, if you don't want to have visible vapor for whatever reason, people have a bunch of different ways they kill the vapor production.

For me, I take a puff, then inhale into my lungs with my mouth open so I'm pulling in more air, and hold it for a few seconds. Most of the ways people do it are a variation on that, more or less. Basically the longer you hold the vapor, the less comes out when you exhale. I find breathing in extra air helps too.

Something to play with. :)

I'm gonna try it at work. I sit at a desk in a cubicle, and usually I will go to the restroom for a few vapes. But too many trips to the bathroom and people will start to think I have a bladder control problem. I've tried it at my desk before, but then had to blow the vapor down my shirt.

I'll practice here at home first.

Thanks!

Hanging out in CA for now
The only time I ever stealth vaped was when we were visiting family in Indiana & I went to my nephews football game. We were sitting in the top row of the bleachers and it was chilly so I was huddled up in my jacket (I wasn't wearing it just holding it over my. I was gonna head downstairs but instead I just pulled out my eGo & took a few puffs. I was holding my jacket up around my shoulders anyway so no adjustment needed. No one saw me but I felt so guilty (like a kid caught with the empty candy wrapper and chocolate lips after mom had said no not till after dinner). I vape openly out in public but I don't ever vape where I couldn't smoke. No criticisms meant to anyone, just my personal preference.....:)

higher PG is better for stealth, also some flavors seem to work better. I have found that a 100% PG 'Red Hot Cinnamon' from another vendor works great (and since PG aggravates my throat, the cinn oil soothes it at the same time) I work around kids so the stealth vaping comes in VERY handy on long photo shoots.

exhaling through your nose also helps.

I would love to see FSUSA do a couple of 'Stealth Juices' so i can dump the uber sweet 'Red Hot' stuff... for me the ideal stealth vape would have little to no vapor on the inhale (vapor escaping your mouth upon inhale is a dead give away), and deffenetly something to counter the effects of a high PG juice (dry mouth means more watter, more water means I have to 'go' more often, not good when you have to work 6 hours without a break. ;) )

I did just that at work today. Took a short inhale, took in another inhale of air, held my breath for a few seconds....and almost no vapor on the exhale. Close to invisible. In fact the most vapor was for the primer puff on my kr808. And well, of course I did a quick glance around the room just to make sure someone wasn't gonna come around the corner. Anyway I pulled it off about 7 or 8 times today. Not bad at all. Sure beats going to the restroom.

I have to fly to Europe a few times this summer. Anyone ninja-vape on a flight before?[/QUOTE

This is such a timely question for me - I'll be flying to Denver in May, and I have read and researched everything official I can find about being allowed to board the plane with my ecigs as a carry on. I've found answers ranging from yes to no to everything in between. There doesn't seem to be anything concrete from the TSA either. All I have really concluded is that 3mls of any sort of liquid or less must be encased in a zip lock bag. But nothing definite about the batteries or cartomizers. I sure don't want my e cigs confiscated so I want to be sure one way or the other.

Has anybody who has flown recently had any problems getting through security with these? I'm flying Continental if that makes any difference.

Sewnmachine and dcassidy - there are travel threads about this, here's one where I summarized pretty much everything I learned from my pre-flight research: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-carryon-air-plane-flights-8.html#post2923383

Your e-cig batteries must be carried on, they are lithium-ion so they should not go in checked luggage.

30ml of juice is only one ounce; 3ml is tiny, both are fine to carry on. Put it in your liquids baggie. TSA | Transportation Security Administration | 3-1-1 on Air Travel

If you want a lot more to read, just go through the "Travel and E-Cig" threads.

Iv'e heard that security doesn't let them in your carry on. I know I cannot just bring my 30ml juice bottle, maybe a few prepped tanks.

I have brought juice in my carry-on before. I just put the bottles in my 1-quart baggy with the rest of my liquids. A 30ml bottle is actually small enough to take.

In know some airports and carriers are starting to make rules about vaping on the plane, etc. But as far as I'm aware there's no ban on juice or e-cigs in your carry-on.

I flew this week and went through security in Baltimore and in Minneapolis. I have an eGo. I brought 3 of the 10 ml bottles in a quart size zip loc bag in my carry on. I took apart the ego and put the atty and the cone in the bag with the e liquid and the 2 batteries in a small carrying case for recharchable AA batteries. The charger was in my bag with my other chargers for the laptopa and the cell phone. I wasn't stopped at either airport, and my bag was actually through the X ray before i made it through the metal detector. i made my way to my gate and assembled the eGO and was good to go the rest of the time. I stealth vaped at the gate and in the bathroom and walking the halls with no problems. I even vaped a couple times in the bathroom of the plane.
