I wish it had a bypass/mech mode so I could get a better idea of battery use but for $100 I guess we get what we get. Maybe they'll do a firmware revision someday that alleviates the poor battery life, who knows.

They haven't mentioned anything, I was just hoping but have no basis on that. Call it a pipe dream
The outer diameter is 4mm and inner diameter is 2mm, it is silicone tube, I got mine replaced....
Does anyone else's leak from the part between the where positive block attaches to the 510 pin and the insulator? I have done a temporary fix by sticking a couple of o-rings from a mini screwdriver between the block and insulator and squeezing it up tight with atty attached before tightening the grub screw. Obviously this is going to change with different atties though so I'm wondering if this a defect in my particular one or just a flaw in the design of the 510 connection.
They posted on facebook that a recent batch was built with a missing 5x1mm o-ring in the 510 that causes leaks underneight.
unscrew the brass block and lift out your 510 pin to check. Slap an oring on there or contact SC and they will send you one.

Yeah that o-ring was missing but I have put one in there. This leaking is coming from in between the 510 pin and the block, you can see it happening when you squonk the bottle, just seems like the 510 pin isn't snug enough inside of that block.
I dunno, I just found one that seemed like a decent fit. This leaking is occurring before the juice even goes anywhere near that o-ring. Its basically coming straight up and out like this.
I do not have any leaking & mine is still missing the o-ring. It's kind of tough to leak in that area. The block is held in place by a hex head grub screw. If you loosen the grub & slide the block off you'll get a better view of the pin.
My unit has a shorter feed tube than I would like, when the bottle is almost empty & I try to squonk the last bit of juice the bottle & feed tube can slide off the pin causing a juice mess inside the unit from my finger pressure pushing the bottle down & in. Once I figured out what I was doing it hasn't happened again but I'm still going to replace the hose for a longer one when I get a chance.

I wonder if there is a crack behind that grub screw? Mine was indented pretty good from the factory, maybe they went a little too far & it pierced the tube? You should take two seconds & pull it apart, I'm sure if it is cracked they can send you a replacement 510 pin easy enough.
Yeah one of my bottles is like that as well, the spare that came with it is spot on though so I've just been using the spare till I get some more tubing.
You could be onto something there, I think I might change juices in the morning so I'll pull it apart and have a good look at the pin and clean everything while I'm in there.
Inspected everything today, the pin on mine is indented pretty good as well but there doesn't seem to be any crack, blocked off the end and tried squonking some water through it and it seems to be airtight. On close inspection everything seems OK so I can only theorise that maybe a small amount of juice is being squeezed up between the pin and the block. I'm thinking maybe a strip of aluminium foil wrapped around the pin inside of the block might be enough to seal it off, either that or a rubber band tight around the tube where it connects to the squonk pin might be enough to rule out that possibility. Not sure how it is possible though as with the tube attached to the pin there doesn't seem to be any water coming out of the tube around the pin, guess there might be a bit more pressure when it has to actually squonk right up into an atty though.
Edit: Wrapped some teflon tape around where the 510 pin pushes up against the top of the block. Squonking great with no leaking now and pin is still spring loaded.

what compatible budget friendly mass produced bf atties are ok with this? its my first squonker and got the aromamizer bf with it, quickly changed the topcap to a side airflow, i was looking at the velocity with the bf pin, but its not the same as the aromamizer
