what compatible budget friendly mass produced bf atties are ok with this? its my first squonker and got the aromamizer bf with it, quickly changed the topcap to a side airflow, i was looking at the velocity with the bf pin, but its not the same as the aromamizer
Get a BF derringer for on catfish
I have a lot of BF attys but I use derringer is my daily

Yeah I've been using the Tobeco Velocity mini as well, works great. Also have a Torque RDA by Tobeco which isn't too bad.

Now that the leaking is sorted I ordered a chip from FT to put into the Steam Crave, should be a great mod then.
What chip? I didn't know that sell chips

They have a few, nothing real good. Ordered this one - $18.28 50W TC VW Variable Wattage Control Module (50W TC/VW Module, 1-50W, 100-300'C (>2000mAh mod)) at m.FastTech.com
In the dropdown list are some others. From what I've been able to find its a chip from an Athena mod, accurate with no delays in regular wattage mode. Temp control doesn't work at all apparently but I'm not worried about that.
Sweet...let us know the batt life on this
I have one with 350j inside but I can only get extra 1ml of juice out of it.

Will do, batt life definitely seems weird on the steam crave but it also feels a little sluggish as far as power to me, at higher resistances it does ok but the lower you go the more it seems to struggle.

Just ordered one of these. Has anyone tested runtimes with builds over an ohm? With up to 9v output available perhaps a higher ohm at higher volts would pull less amps and make a fair difference with battery life.

I've been considering that as well. Next time I rebuild I am going to try that to see if matters. I've gotten over it at this point, I just charge when I can. I have the same battery for the last week, I hook it up to USB when it gets down. I've been so used to mech's that I was always pulling my battery & swapping. The onboard charging works fine.

Honestly I haven't found any difference in battery life depending on resistance and I've had it as low as 0.2ohm and as high as 1.3ohm, I didn't expect to though. With VW mods the wattage will decide how many amps you are pulling. Resistance is irrelevant to battery drain on VW mods.

This is basically the only mod I use anymore. I sometimes got the no atomizer message, not lately. I think it does that mostly when i somehow wander into temp control mode, for nickel, which I don't use.
A few times it was something with the atomizer. It hasn't happened for a long time now, so im hazy on details.

When a battery reads low, and I take it out and put it in another mod, it shows there is still a good amount of charge left.

I have a few theories. Mainly, i think the way this mod is designed, it doesn't allow the heat to dissipate very well and that affects the reading. Just my thoughts.
Also when left on, even if not used much, it still gobbles energy.

I think the SC bottom feeder atomizer sucked, and I haven't used mine much. I bought the mod/atomizer kit.
So far the only other atty I've used is the tobacco velocity.
With dual coils it sucks the battery power up quick. But otherwise, Iove the combo.
I get the most life with just a single coil that's at about 1.0 ohm.

I haven't had any leaking problems to speak of.

I just built the one I got from here & it is wonky, doesn't compare to the last two I bought from a different vendor. No idea if this is a counterfit or the mfr is different but I wouldn't recommend it anymore. Too bad because it was a nice atty. FYI the first two I have are black & pretty nice, this last one was a silver one & not as nice. Loose post after putting the bottom feed pin & really loose threads on the air adjustment.

Yep, I can confirm, built an 8 wrap, 28awg dual coil build netting at .95 ohm's last night with the same battery life. Literally made no difference at all in battery life vs my typical 26awg dual builds netting .4 ohm's.

Couldn't resist the New Year pricing.
I didn't see that they offered extra bottles.
Does anybody know a source for them?
Wondering if I could use my REO bottles?
They came with an extra bottle in the box.
It's just a normal 10ml bottle
Reos are 6ml

Yeah that's weird, mine is a silver one and the threads are good and post is solid but I guess that's the clone lottery lol.

The mod comes with an additional bottle. I haven't tried using one of my Reo bottles but I don't see why it wouldn't work. The included bottle is more ML's & very soft to squonk, I have a similar bottle in my Cam-M & like them.

That is the only thing that has been annoying me about the vtc squonker, only 6ml capacity and the bottles are firmer, have ordered some of those fancy 8.5ml bottles from Reosmods though which should be nice.

I have some 10ml bottles from fasttech that are the same size, the cap from the SC bottle isn't a perfect fit but you can easily force it on.

$2.91 Empty Needle Refiller Bottle for E-Liquid (10-Pack) 10-pack - 10ml / PE / green at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
