What's your complete setup you use right now ? Also how are you inhaling dtl or mtl ? there's tons of reasons on why you don't get clouds so a bit more infos would help if you need help :p

Sorry for the delayed reply. My usual set up is a STM on various mods. For example I have a .38 coil at 22w on a Smok m80+ (that's also what I used when I tried the huge griffin 25+). All with max vg juice!
Oh, and I MTL

Other than the fact that 22w for a .38 coil seems low i can't say much as i've never heard of a smok m80 and i don't have the griffin..... Sorry :(

That's ok. I also use this same set up with several different pico styles and an eVic Primo mini.
I'll try upping the wattage

I use in rotation a pico, coolfire 4,coolfire 18650 and 2 provaris, lol. I do like the idea of safe, thats why im skiddish about upping my wattage. Using the subtank mini with RBA all the time. I prefer MTL. I have upped it to 15 watts on this 1.4 coil and it is better but will also keep trying new things too. I had no idea i would end up chasing a cloud when i started..

If y'all are Subtank Mini fans (like me) and want an MTL vape, try closing the airflow to about 1/4 to 3/8 open, use a coil higher than 1.0 Ohms and swap the drip tip for one with a narrow bore. Then play with your wattage setting until it feels right. You can also play with the airflow on the STM along with the wattage.

Edit to add: Another good tank for MTL use is the Tron T or Tron S. Its 1.0 Ohm coil and by-design tighter airflow is ideal for MTL. I didn't like the tank because I was looking for the ability to do both MTL and DL, but it doesn't do DL well at all.

On the subtank mini. How many times has Kanger changed the rba tank? The one that came with the subtank had large juice holes low down. I got some off of Fastech many months ago and they had small juice holes half way up the tank.

I just got another couple off of fasttech and they are even larger holes than the one that came with the subtank.

Don't really see much difference with wicking on the tanks but don't really like the small hole ones as it is in the middle of the tank and you have to fill the tank more often.

Ive been tinkering and made a 1.5 ohm with inner .2mm instead of the precoiled i bought with .3mm. Why is there a big difference i dont understand but it is wonderful! At first i thought no way it could be good with so little cotton but to my surprise i think this will be my coil. Of course now for the life of me i can NOT get any more made, lol.

Well done breez. Get yourself a pin vise…and I swear you'll be churnin 'em out like popcorn on a hot pan in no time. Learn to oxidize 'em once they're that exact and all else will seem like tryin' to barbecue on a skillet. Just sayin'.

Have a great weekend.

Good luck. :D
