I got the agr carto tank in today . . it's kewl. . .and I like the way the stainless steel mesh was wrapped. . .in those plastic tubes. . .that was a good idea

Thanks :) I initially shipped it just loosely wrapped into the box but people complained so I went and bought a ton of plastic tubing and cut it down and changed my product offering to 6x12 instead of 12x12 to make shipping easier and more "clean"

I like that filler screw. . .I used an 18g needle and mine worked just fine. . .maybe some of the holes are a little smaller or something. . .anyway I like it . . .I like not having to take it all apart to refill it. .this is the first tank I've had with a fill screw so time will tell I guess. .but overall I really like this tank cuz it's real solid feeling . . .I'm wondering if there's some place you can get a glass tank for it.

agr should fit on any 510 device that doesn't have a recessed 510 connector. as long as the connector is flush or raised above the drip well (if present) then it'll go on. I've used mine on my provari so I know for a fact it fits on there, as for the telescope, I'm unfamiliar with the mod.

Please fill out this post, I'm working on a number of products and I have some design decisions to make. I know what "I" like but that doesn't mean I'm the 'norm'. Feedback from that thread will directly influence my final designs for various products.

It has been my experience that a designer/maker working to his or her vision produces a product superior to one that has been designed to the lowest common denominator.

If you make it the way you want it, you might (possibly, though unlikely) be the only one happy with it--but you will be happy with it and it will be the best you can do.
If you take other opinions on your own design elements, you may or may not be happy with it, other people may or may not be happy with it--and you will always wonder if you could have done better.
If you go with design elements you don't like because "it's what everyone else wants," no one will be happy with it.

Ima go fill out the survey now, but I can say here that I would rather try one person's vision of an idea device than to bother with a device that tries to please everyone (and therefor cannot be perfect for anyone).

Disclaimer: I am more of an artist than a businessman, so keep that in mind when reading anything I call "advice"

Good timing... I just closed :)

I hope everyone has a happy holiday, I'll check in on the forums when I can but I'll be out of town on vacation until Wednesday, the store should be open that evening, depending on how zonked I am when I get home :)

Happy Holidays, be safe, be sane (as sane as you can manage...) don't eat too much and enjoy any new lung toys that santa (or steam monkey) sends ya!

Oh, don't worry... my vision for the products is going to stay intact. I have some design decisions I have to make and the weight I apply to various aspects of the design is something I'd like to have some market feedback on, that's the point. I'm not going to make Homers Perfect Car (simpsons reference) I'm still going to make the device "I" envision it being.

One of the main things these questions will help me decide is how many devices I make. As it stands I'm planning a beginner model and a premium model. The beginner model will be base level design, fully functional, low price, etc, the premium will be top end, most features, fancy materials and design, etc.... if the results show people need somethign in the middle then I'll produce a third device.

Same with the 'toppers' it's important for me to get a grip on what people 'really' want. I'm all about RBAs but some people just want to squirt juice in a 'thingy' and vape, they dont' want to use tools or multimeters ;) My current plan involves a fancy RBA but the results of that set of questions will tell me if I need to look into a cheaper, less fiddly alternative. I've got designs in the works for about 6 different style 'toppers', teh questions will tell me which ones would be the smartest to put the most effort into right now.
