Mornin primates,

I'm on the fence on the AGRs, they're popular but they come from the same folks I get the Aga-T and I was waiting to make my follow up order with them when the AGA-T+ is finished which will be after new years most likely. Anything I order right now will be shipped after the 4th anyway so I think I'm just gonna hold out on restocking the AGR until I order the Aga-T.

Fair enough. It'll be a backup device for me, so I'm in no rush to pick one up.

I meshed my igo-l last night and it's workin a treat :) The mesh doesn't hold much juice since i just made a little 5mm pillow of rolled SS but it's tasty!

Got any pics? Do you ship your IGO's with mesh only, or is there some silica/cotton wick included as well?

the Igo comes with a lil silica from the factory, I don't add any. What I do add is my standard RBA goody bag with a chunk of 400 a chunk of 500, and a small length of each kanthal A1 I carry (28, 30, 32awg).

I dig cotton hybrids but I wanted to try a straight up stainless mesh set up with the igo for my first build. It works, it's not 'perfect' because of juice retention but it's not bad either. Gonna be great for juice taste testing when I start working on my flavors for the store :)

Thanks Lance! I knew you added the mesh and kanthal, just wasn't sure if they came with the standard factory incidentals as well.

For these, maybe a hybrid with cotton or other inside mesh (instead of outside) would be better for longer dripping. Nice to hear you're going to have flavors/juice for the shop sometime too! Will that be flavors, juice, or both? Is it going to be your own mixes, or reselling from other pre-mixed sources?

when I sell juice it'll be all my own flavor blends and it'll be a very limited selection. There are people out there that make some monster juices and I'm not really wanting to be in the juice biz. I've got some custom blends I make for myself and friends and some fun ideas I'll be working with. I'll probably have a max of 10 flavors and it's unlikely any of them will be 'simple'.

I'm a big time foodie so flavor profiles are fun for me.

I've personally got my modded Igo-L (coined as "Bilby") from a user over on Reddit...

It's awesome setup with big, fat dual ceramic wick. The first dripper I've really enjoyed since I started vaping. The taste with ceramic is so clean. I highly recommend some ceramic for anyone who ordered an Igo-L.

ahh what the hell, it ate one of my posts.

I'm not releasing any info on my ceramic yet because it's still very much in the early stages. I've been researching the material off and on for a while now and I'm most likely going to present it in a new form factor with a device designed around it to maximize it's useage characteristics.

Right now I'm focusing on new vaporizers because my store is lacking in those since I'm boycotting any chinese vape over 30 bucks :p

Is it normal for the ego twists to have their connector disconnect from the battery from things like unscrewing it by the body from the charger, etc? Our first twist I chalked it up to getting bumped or handled roughly with a tank on it, but now I'm starting to wonder, since I just saw it give up its connection from something fairly benign. I've been making them work again by slipping some mesh in between the battery metal and the connector metal so it forma a tighter seal. Is there glue that is supposed to hold these together or what? They seem very weak.

Yeah, unfortuantely the metal they use on the twist bodies is pretty thin so the press fit/glue gives it up on occaision. It shouldn't happen right away but I've had egos last me a month or a year. If yours is busted this early (I've only been open a month so it can't be old yet) I'd be willing to replace it. I knew going in that some of these things would have defects and was prepared to deal with it :)

the only reason I even carry those is because it's the best option for a beginner right now, even with the QC issues and random quality fubars there really isn't a better option for the price (yet).
