Alrighty Primates,

I'm sorta at a point with the store where I'm not planning on adding any new "chinese" products. However, before I pull the plug on researching new products/suppliers out of china I wanted to check in with you guys and see if you feel there's a "gap" in the store that should be filled with Chinese products before I go whole hog into my american product development.

Before I accept responses let me clear a couple I"m pretty sure I'm going to hear right off the bat.

1. I'm getting a mechanical mod in soon to cover the 'mid range' device category, it'll be kickable so that will support the midrange user in my personal opinion.

2. I will not carry the vamo, evic, lava tube, or any of it's peer products. I think the Zmax and a lot of these products are great for what they are but they fall below my personal standard for the store as far as 'value'. Mostly in the QC/durability category. Again, that's my personal opinion and like I've said from the beginning, if I won't use it or recommend it, I won't carry it.

3. I'm not going to carry any other RBAs other than what I currently stock. I've got the Aga-T+ for your "big boy RBA" the Aga-S for the 'mini' RBA and the Igo-L for the dripper RBA. This covers the bases pretty well and in my testing, I feel these represent the best in breed as far as value and quality. There are better devices out there for significantly more money but for the price, I feel these are as good as it gets. I've no interest in carrying a 'variety' of the same category. it's not about being the walmart of vaping for me, it's about carrying quality good value devices for users so they can get the best experience for the price.

4. I'm adding Boge XXL cartos, I'm not particularly interested in any other brand of cartomizer, same statements about 'variety' within a product category.

5. I'm getting a cheaper single battery charger and a wider variety of batteries. I'll be carrying 18650, 18350, and 18500 Efests soon as well as 14500s eventually (once I have a product that needs them). I will continue to sell the Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries as well.

I'm looking for 'holes' that haven't been covered already, things you feel I should be seling given the theme and style of my store and product offerings. There's only so much research I can do.

Some examples of things I've debated carrying but decided against (these are open for debate)

1. Clearos other than Vivi/T3. I've debated picking up a CE4 or something but I decided against it due to carrying the vivis and T3s which I think are superior in that category but I'm open to reasons why it would be good to carry something else there.

2. Standard ego batteries. I carry the twist, I feel it's the best "first real vape" for new users and price wise, it's pretty affordable for what it is. I've skipped non VV batteries because I didn't see the point, they seem to be an intermediate upgrade over stick bats given the advent of Twist/VV options.

3. 510 Dripper atomizers. I've searched for a 'good quality' chinese dripper (non RBA style) and just can't find something I'm satisfied with selling, I know this is valuable to a new user for testing different juices but I just can't find one that meets my standards, if you have ideas, feel free to share :)

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

everytime I start processing a new batch of ss mesh I want to raise prices :p I don't think you guys know how annoying it is to turn a roll of mesh 1m x 10m into those little 6x12 sheets and little 2inch samplers for the RBAs :p my right arm is gonna end up bigger than my left arm from using this freakin cutter rofl.

And I still have to chop up 2500ft of Kanthal sometime soon.

Look for an old style paper cuter. The one with a big curved arm with a blade attached. Bet it would work good for this.

I have one that I do the final cuts with. It starts as a 1m x 10m roll though and they don't make a 1m wide paper cutter ;) So, I take the 1m wide roll and cut it into multiple 12inchx1m strips then cut those strips down into 6x12 sections, the left over bit at the end is 12 inches x 'whatever' and that gets cut into 2inch sections for the RBA goody bag. using the papercutter makes the last part easy, but cutting the 1m x 12inch strips requires using a rotary cutter and a lot of bending and moving the roll around to get it as straight and clean as possible.

well being a monkey you have 4 hands pretty much ;P just alternate between all 4 LOL

If you werent so far away, i would let you use out metal shear at work. It can handle 5 feet across I think. Ill ask my friend at work see if he has any ideas for easier method. He has been around for awhile and has forgot more tricks then I know.

Stocking feedback. and questions

Are you going to still carry the AGR Carto tank ? Are those tubes polycarb or polypro ?
I think at least one Carto tank thats Polypro or glass for the stronger juices would be good to carry. If the Agr is polypro then just ignore me :) I am looking into a carto tank right now is what made me think of that.

Everything else looks/sounds like you have it all covered.

Maybe carry a carto punch ? I didnt see one. But you talk about them so im prolly just missing them.

On a side note. I really like the new style Aga-S, planning to get one of those before long. Glad your going to still carry those.

Then raise the price. Even at $1 more a pop you'd have the most reasonable mesh prices I've seen--and that would add considerable income per roll :)

I think you should put all of your product videos, instructionals, and other first-timer relevant information onto a dvd with a menu and everything. Sell it for $10 or something so you are covered on price and make some money. I think it would be helpful for some people, and very convenient.

I actually thought about a full blown intro to vaping video but it always ends up so long because theres so much information to cover.

I'm not gonna raise prices on my mesh unless my supplier raises prices. Metal prices fluctuate so there may be a price raise int he future, there also might be a price drop. I've got my margins trimmed to exactly where I want em so I can offer a good price but still make enough money to move on my other projects, because of that I have to adjust with the supplier prices. Right now though I've got some 200ish pieces of both 400 and 500 in stock and backstock at the current price so we shouldn't see a change for a while ;)

mostly processed, had to go take care of some stuff out of the house today and tonight and have to do the day job thing tomorrow (and every damn day until I can become full time steam monkey) so itl'l be tomorrow night before this shipment makes it to the store. I've gotta QC the stuff first and get some new pictures for the aga-t+.

Also... there was a shipping fubar with my carto order, hopefully it'll be resolved but I probably won't have 2.0s or xxl 2.0s in until early next week ><

my twists are gonna be out of stock for a bit too, I pulled any that felt even remotely loose after jiggling them around a bit and ordered from a new manufacturer in hopes that this version of knock off is more consistant than my last knock off :p

People are gonna judge me for that, but when it comes to ego stuff... it's borderline disposable in the first place and out of about 100 I ran into issues or had reported issues on about 10, which in china math ain't bad but it's a lil over my personal standard. The new twists are virtually identical but made in a different factory so... we'll see. gonna open a bunch of em when they come in just to eyeball em.
