Already posted this in the pic thread, but here's the rba Lance sold me.....
Gonna recoil it when I empty this tank to get the resistance lower, but I couldn't be more pleased! :)

You should have 2 battery caps, if you're not using the smaller of the two, try that maybe? I'm not having the battery bounce issue in mine. Lemme know what you find!

Just got my segelei zmax! Its awesome, but is there a users manual online? I figured out most of it, but how do i see the atty resistance?

edit: figured it out

Edit 2: the battery spring in this is kinda weak, if you tap the bottom it turns off. I need to find a stronger spring.

I tried to leave a review on Steam Monkey but it was lost after having to log in multiple times. :( I will try again after more coffee. first things first. hehe

Lance a suggestion if I may. Get some of those metal tipped dripper bottles. If I didnt have a syringe I would have been pulling my hair out after building the perfect wick and coil and not being able to fill er up.

The Good- greased lighting customer service, yep that is number one in my book. Easy to coil and wick, even with the so called finicky 28 gauge. Perfect airhole alignment, oh ya that is customer service again, thanks Lance. Included goody bag, oops I hit on customer service again. A vendor that listens to his customer. I dont know how this keeps coming back to customer service. I better get on with the rest of the review so his head doesnt swell and he floats away like a balloon monkey.

The Bad- knurling, I dont like it but it is only aesthetics. The wick hole on the AGA-t is odd sized, smaller than 1/8" and larger than 3/32" I had to drill it to 1/8" so the bit could be used as a coil pilot. No big deal only took about 30 seconds.

The Ugly- Fill hole is tiny and you cant remove the top to fill so a syringe is needed to fill.

Overall impression- great value for venturing into RBAs

The Vape- I used the entire sample of 500 to roll the wick, oxidizing before and after rolling. I also added the extra nut from the goody bag to the pos post since I figured I needed the extra height to get enough coils of 28 so the Vamo didnt error out. Prewound the 28 gauge coil on a drill bit and dropped the bit into the wick hole. Attached and tightened the ground leg. Pulled the positive leg tight and tightened down the last nut. A couple small adjustments with a needle to get even spaces on the coil and then removed the bit. Tested for ohms, 1.9 ohms. Dry fire the coil at 3 watts. Wow, perfect. No hot spots, nice even glow from top to bottom. upped tha wattage a few times doing dry fires to double check it and all is good. Slide the wick in and test for ohms again to make sure it is oxidized and insulated from the coil. still reading 1.9 ohms. dry fire at low watts to check the glow and make sure wick insertion didnt move my coils. Did I mention I am half blind and wound the coil by braille? OK maybe not but it sure seemed like it. Filled it up and started vaping. Started out at 4 watts and quickly took it up to 12 watts looking for the sweet spot. I havent found it yet but not too worried since the new coil and wick are still seasoning.

I know about your honest posts, Lance. That's why I commented. Your honesty is greatly appreciated.

Regarding Sigeli caps. I use the larger cap for my 18650s as the small cap was difficult to get started. No issues so far. Man, that thing is heavy! Great mod!

AGA-T kickin' my .... but not in a good way. More fiddling required. Used the drill bit and got a nice coil at 1.8 ohm but when I insert the wick is just doesn't work right. I move and push and nudge, no joy. I'll keep working at it.

Thanks Lance! Have a great vacation!

Try adjusting your coils while they are red

Got the zmax today. Do you have some kind of arrangement with the post office? You aren't selling your body are you? All I can say about this thing so far is wow, and wow, and nice display, and wow. I looked at my bolt in shame and shook my head, and put it away. The aga-t at 1.8 ohms runs nice on it at 6 watts by the way, at least with the juice I have in it now. The vivi is even better, since I still don't know what I'm doing with the RBA yet. I can tell there's better air flow on the connector here than on the bolt too, because I can hear it venting, which is kind of freaking awesome. I feel like I'm administering some kind of steam punk flavor injection. Which I am.

I hand carry my mail to the PO so I see when it gets scanned in. By doing that I skip the pre-sort step since it gets scanned and put in the appropriate bin right then. Means the trackin info you guys get is spot on, if you get info, that means it is physically at the PO waiting to be routed towards you.

I may switch to a pick up service if order volume gets too high but that's gonna have to be 50+ orders a day before I even consider it. I like having my hands on every step of the process. You should see my stock room ;) I have to build in a lot of effeciencies to be able to handle this on top of my normal day job.

Is the Segelei supposed to lose some of its settings when you switch batteries? I noticed this morning when I put in a new battery that what was displayed in the lcd, and the rms/mean settings seemed to be changed. It seemed that the power setting might have been the same, but I'm not sure what it comes on at by default. Not a huge problem, but just curious what the expected behavior was. I'll test the other one I got in a short bit.

This has been a common complaint with both the Sigelei Zmax and the Vamo. They do not hold settings when you change the batteries. It's one of the biggest downfalls of both devices, IMO.

I seem to remember my RMS staying, wattage stayed too. voltage resets though for sure.
