well, last night was freakin nuts... I walked into the PO today and 2 of the clerks decided that was a great time to take a break when they saw all the stuff I had to mail out lol.

Today... much more calm, infact... too calm. I need my freakin restocks!

Coming (Hopefully) Monday will be:

Boge 2.0 Restock!
Boge 2.0 XXLs coming to the store!
The KTS Mechanical mod (called the CCTS by some folks, GGTS clone). This is a telescopic mod with an 'extension' segment for going all the way up to a 18650, i'm also going to be selling the extension segments separately for those that want to kick the device with an 18650. :)
Efest batteries in 18500, 18350.
A new Xtar single battery charger and spacers to accomodate any 14xxx or 18xxx battery.

"possibly" showing up monday (shipping is funky on these and customs has currently snagged them)
More Panasonic CGR18650CH batteries

Coming "soon"
Ego Twist restock ;)

Coming in approximately 2 weeks.
More Aga-T+ RBAs, more AGR Carto tanks (Rev 2 apparently... more details to follow) and an extremely small 'sample' order of igo-S. Basically the same as the igo-L but in 14.5mm diameter (about ego battery diameter) it's cute... not sure if I'll carry them but I wanted to get a lil order in to test em and get a few out there to those that might be interested in trying a 'new' product.

Going to bed now, see you folks tomorrow ;)

what are the changes with a rev 2 of the agr? lol I just ordered my AGR last night :(

Mostly cosmetic from what I can tell. One minor physical change.
They removed the knurling and it's all smooth now and the bottom cap is a little different, it looks like theres a threaded cap for the bottom, sort of like it already has but theres no kilt (it's not a skirt) then the kilt + locking adapter are one piece.

The existing tank has it's own visual appeal, I don't think the rev 2 is a huge improvement or something, it negates the sometimes issue of the adapter unscrewing from the carto instead of the mod when you try to take it off your device but really that was a pretty minor issue to begin with, the removal of knurling is just cosmetic. I personally like knurling but what do I know? ;)

I have a feelin this thread might get a little busier when people see the mech device I'm putting up next week :p

Also...
I'm developing a number of products right now, the first to hit market is going to be fun but I wanted to get some thoughts from folks about what your 'perfect' device is. If you could, respond with choices from below then feel free to comment on 'why' you picked those things.

Tube or Box
Mechanical with kick option or built in VV/VW (most likely DNA20)
14xxx or 18xxx battery size.

DNA20 mod, preferably capable of running two 18650's for an extended battery life (so a box mod obviously).

I personally don't mind lugging around a larger mod with me, as long as I know it's going to perform to my expectations. The dna20 board intrigues me because I already cap my Provari at its amp and wattage limit (3.5 and 15 respectively) and am looking to get into higher wattage vaping without needing to use an unregulated mechanical mod.

So I have an ITaste MVP and back when they were new I had a Darwin as well as several box mods I built my self... I find myself leaning towards the tube mods in the end for the ergo aspect but the problem is once electronics are added, length can really add up if you keep a good sized battery.

A note on the darwin... I went through a number of these before I eventually just went back to smoking. Loved the device despite its rather disappointing adapter arm location for the atty connection, primarily because of the consistent performance... but those things were so sensitive to juice leaks even after he started sealing the boards. I really hope if you use that DNA 20, which sounds great, that either its been made superhydrophobic or you make the electronics housing completely water tight.

The lesson I learned with the darwin was, expensive tech is great so long as its bullet proof... expensive tech in the mail to be fixed... doesn't vape.

I bet you're right about your mech mod....
i think your choice was spot on in that regard.

I also am glad to see that you haven't abandoned the idea of carrying a VV/VW mod.
Since I got my AGA-T, my Vamo is getting almost all my air time.
That may change when I get more consistent at building coils, but for now my mech mods are almost idle.

It would be nice to see a smaller clear tank RBA, since the AGA's are so heavy and large.
Maybe something similar with a 2 ML capacity.

BTW- My AGA-T+ is in town ready for shipment tomorrow! :D

Pretty impressive, since I ordered Friday night!

Reinvent the wheel, a man can dream:

Pistol Grip Box.
1. 18650, dna20, screen on left side for right-handed user.
2. Built in glass tank dropped in side by side with battery. Keeps APV center of gravity low, able to sit upright on a table or desk.
3. Full length narrow tank viewing window, LED inside MOD next to tank lights on atty fire to view juice level.
4. AGA+ Style RBA head screws into MOD sealing the tank, minimal sticks out the top.
5. O-ring cover allows air-hole location adjustment, air-hole size adjusts by turning base "screw" to reveal more/less air-hole.
6. Instead of power being fed up from the bottom of the tank, comes in the side of the atty base and up to + (pos) post. Allows location of + post offset from center and free's up tank space for more juice. NOTE: Accomplished by base being two SS plates sandwiching an non conductive high thermal profile material. Bottom plate is +, + post runs down through insulator and top plate to screw into bottom plate of sandwich. Top plate is - and the upper side of it is where the posts are mounted. Allows power to be applied from side.
7. Two - (neg) posts; form an equilateral triangle with the + post, wick hole centered between the three posts.
8. Fill hole ample size for filling with a normal juice bottle, screw in place when not filling.
9. Inside of cover contoured to post configuration to minimize air volume.
10. Tank vent fitted with check valve to allow air in but not liquid out.

I think that covers it. I can picture it in my head.

I always ship next day or same day if you order early enough ;)

As for VV/VW, I'm just not carrying any chinese versions. I'll have a production DNA20 mod up as soon as I can get one prototyped and tested. Mounting them in a reliable and repeatable way is a slight chore and I'm extremely .... about design. I have a 6% rule that I tend to stick with. No more than 6% wasted 'space' in the enclosure, and no more than 6% "excess" material included in the enclosure. This counts for sidewall material and any fluff in the middle. Because of this rule I end up re-designing A LOT and rearranging parts into different configurations until I get the most efficient use of space with the least amount of bulk remaining material and the least amount of void space within the device. This practice means my stuff will be as light as possible, as inexpensive as possible, as compact as possible, and when I can, as evironmentally friendly as possible as I waste the least amount of material with the manufacturing process. Billet stuff is a buzz word, if you take a 1lb hunk of metal and mill out 60% of that material you've just wasted .6lbs of whatever metal it's made of and that makes me sad. I try to design around existing stock forms instead of just figuring I can machine out a solid block for my shape/form factor.

That PO trip sounds like my luck, I'd get that every day if I came in with packages like I assume you do :D

I'd be interested in being one of your Guinea pigs on the IGO-s, if you are still looking for any testers! Sounds like it would be a great way to take something nice (and lighter too) with you while you were out and about, but didn't want to carry along a huge RBA like the AGA-T

Morning primates, update time:

the CCTS shipment is in my home town, not sure if it got here early enough to get delivered today, I'll let you know later.

The boge carto order that got shipped to the wrong person is still on it's way to the wrong person. They sent it to chicago, it needs to come to fort worth... I talked to em this morning and hopefully it's going to get stopped in chicago and redirected to me, why it took them 4 days to process a redirect request is beyond me but there it is. I 'might' have them tomorrow, most likely wednesday. This includes the Boge 2.0 and Boge XXL 2.0s.

The Efest 18350, 18500, and new Xtar chargers should be here today.

The Panasonic CGR18650s are still... well, no freakin clue. I changed my supplier temporarily because my normal one was out of stock and this one used some weird shipping service who's tracking is basically pointless so I might get em today, might never get em, who freakin knows.

I'm so freakin tired of ordering stuff from china lol. Everytime I have to deal with this song and dance I get more and more motivated to get my US made products to market.

Regarding the durability of the board. I plan on it being in as sealed an enclosure as possible, most likely completely isolated from any path the juice could take outside of the center post wire. I don't know how water proof it is, but general rule of thumb... liquid on electronics is bad news lol.
