ok well... it's not a bad lil guy.
I bought extra extension sections specifically so people could kick it with an 18650.
With both extensions, kicked with an 18650 it is about the same length as the sigelei zmax and significantly lighter (slightly longer than a provari with an 18650 extension).
The button feels decent and locks like the GGTS switch, it's all chromed brass or copper, so not stainless but... when you see the price I don't think you'll mind much. It's down right tiny in 18350 mode.
Set up is thus:
18350, fully closed.
18500, telescope tube extended.
18650, telescope extended + extension tube.
18350+Kick, telescope tube extended.
18500+Kick, telescope tube extended + Extension tube.
18650+Kick, Telescope tube extended + 2 extension tube.
I'll be selling it with just the one extension tube and putting the extra extensions on the site as an accessory you can purchase separately. This way if you don't intend on kicking it you don't have to pay for the extra segment.
I do not condone stacking batteries for reasons I don't care to go into here because of the flame war it will cause but for those of you what must... you can stack 18350s in this without buying the extra extension. The stock set up will support dual 18350s. (Again, I do not recommend you do so)
Quality wise...
It doesn't rattle at all once you've got it snug on the battery, feels pretty solid. The sidewall is pretty thin so I'm not sure how impact proof it is, I just got this one so I'm not gonna bang it around until after I've played with it a while

.
The threads are good for coming out of a mass production setting. There is a lil bit of roughness at the very top and bottom of each thread but otherwise it spins pretty nice. The button feels solid, I have had a couple times that I pushed the button and got nothin, I'm thinking the kick was a little crooked though and not making a good ground contact cause I gave it a lil tap on my palm and the issue went away. The button is deffinitely not a GG button, it copies it but theres some things that will pop out at you. The threading on the 'lock nut' is a little chewy at first, after playin with it a bit it started to feel better. The locking nut likes to stick in both the locked and fully unlocked position... this is actually a good thing since you don't have to worry about it free spinning and either unlocking in your pocket or locking a 'little' and causing the button to stop working.
Also, as far as voltage loss or case resistance, I metered the 18650 I put in it at 4.06, installed the battery + one extension tube, fired it and checked the voltage at the connector and it read 4.06. That's a quick and dirty, I'm sure the case provides at least a little resistance but the Kick ran fine and I'm showing virtually no loss with the battery installed so that's a good thing performance wise.
Gotta say, I was expecting it to be sorta iffy on the quality but I'm relatively impressed. Durability wise... I'm not sure but it's gonna be pretty cheap on the site compared to most mechanical mods and it doesn't have a bottom button (I hate bottom buttons, not a huge fan of pinky buttons but if I have to choose, it's pinky).
