Hello to all the Steam Monkey Fans. I haven't read this thread, but I have purchased from Steam Monkey, and I am quite impressed with your specific selection of products & accessories, as well as the service I received. I look forward to being a repeat customer.

Have you though of stocking the ribbon kanthal? I just got some of this in, and it is pretty cool stuff. I would love to see you bring some of this in in several sized if you can!

Cheers,

-AJ

Hey all,
if you ordered from me sometime after ~noon on on the 26th and before 3pm today (28th) Your package has shipped... however, the USPS changed the delivery confirmation system I use so all of my tracking numbers that get generated on my store may or may not be accurate. I have no other info than that to be honest, the guys at the PO had nothing to tell me aside from what was printed on their stupid single page training sheet. So... sorry for those of you who tracking number stalk but I can't promise the delivery conf numbers are going to update at all.
I apologize if this causes an inconvenience, I'm already on the phone with the API tech support to try and figure out ... is going on and how I can un-screw the situation for future orders. I'll post an update here if the issue goes away or becomes a 'permanent' problem.

not that you asked but here's my comments on the Natural.... Love the finish... I sanded my CCTS because it was a fingerprint magnet... Love the button... the CCTS button is rounded and hurts your pinky.... and I am a big guy, but after a few days of use I have a sore spot on the area I push with my pinky and now usually have to use my palm for the button.... negatives on the Natural.... Not adjustable size... Choosable size, that means it fits either a 18650 or 18350 only.... I happen to use my CCTS with a 14500 as well as those two. I really like being able to adjust the tightness with all batteries as that means I can rotate the AGA wherever needed since its very friendly that way. I wish this Natural was a little more similar to the GGTS in its telescoping possibility and not just an extension stacker.

Efests are back in stock plus I added the 2200mAh IMR 18650 from efest to fill the void left by the discontinued Panasonic CGRs.

Also restocked most of the stainless steel drip tips so if you've been eyeballing a cone, ripple, heat sink, straight pipe, or ming, they're ready for your welcoming lips ;)

so I got a few big runs on items over the last week... unfortunately it caught me unawares and I was unable to get large enough orders in to stock me up for the chinese new years... as such, product updates and stuff will be a lil slow going for the next couple of weeks.

This comes at as good a time as it can for me because I'm moving into a new house and prepping my old house for sale about a month earlier than I anticipated. I'll still be popping in every day and answering questions but overall things will slow down a little for a few weeks. Thanks for being great folks and don't forget about me!

Where I am
I've been fiddle-faddling with my AGA-T+ for a few days now, but I finally have it running stellar with a silica wick. I'm not a huge fan of SS mesh so I needed to get this going with a traditional wick. I tried hemp, as I just started experimenting with it, and it was a no go, but this silica wick keeps getting better with every tank refill...

Sometimes I have to go bottoms up, like I'm trying to drink from it, to keep the wick moist, but I'm a chain vaper. If I am relaxed while I vape with the AGA-T I find that I don't need to do that.

I absolutely love the look, feel and weight of it; it's a steam gorilla!

I also have the Igo-L, and it complements the Aga-T very well. I have been extracting cigars and pipe tobaccos, and I use the AGA-T for my equipment friendly extracts, and the IGO-L for my coil destroying extracts like my Admiral Blend pipe extraction; because the IGO-L is easier to clean, and dry burn it is perfect for "hard on the equipment" NET's.

I commend Steam Monkey for offering solid products at "pissing-some-people-off" prices, and for also running contests that reward creativity and persistence!

Thanks for being awesome.

Edit: One tip I have is that I ignore the hole in the negative post, and wrap the wire directly around the screw. I had varying readings on the Ohms until I tried this.

Mornin Primates :)

Busy lil monkey this week outside of the store. Sorry for the almost radio silence, when things get back to normal I"ll be back with a vengeance :) I've made some progress on my, soon to launch, mod line up. The initial offering will be modest but I think folks will dig it and it'll be followed by a full line up of parts and accessories. As always, things take time and both me and the folks I'm working with on the project are super busy right now!

Keep on vapin, the monkey will be spamming you again soon. Also as a side note, don't freak out if the store suddenly looks a lot different. I'm moving to a new service provider in the not too distant future so the site will get a new look and some more advanced features on the back end to help me be more efficient in my order processing and hopefully save me some time when getting y'alls orders out the door!

Does anyone know of a video or photo review of the AGA-T+ that describes each of the parts? I.E. what is the little raised post with the small screw and two tiny holes in the side? I know where the wick hole, positive and negative holes are. But I am totally in the dark over this lining up of an air hole. Why all this sanding? The very top piece of my AGA just snaps on. Is that what people are sanding and if so why? A good review of just what each screw/post/component is would help me understand what everyone is talking about. I think. :)
