The RDTA can be hard on juice consumption. Think of a performance carburetor, more air + bigger jets= more fuel burned. Now imagine an economic carburetor little jets + minimal airflow= less fuel burned. The RDTA is a performance carburetor, you can install smaller coils and limit the airflow for less performance and juice savings, but at the end of the day it's built for maximizing flavor\ performance.

The velocity styled deck can be found "nearby" across the causeway if you know what i mean. They bring in the aromamizer and the deck.

the only thing I dont like about this tank is their use of "rubber bands" to block airholes - i'm thinking that you might vape some of it as well when the tank is hot...
but i'm still interested :D
I actually like the bands, the red would suit my silicone mod casing and the black band would suit my mod without the casing.
You can always not use them.

I agree it matches quite nicely with a mod.. what i'm afraid of is the risk of that rubber band change consistency due to the heat of the tank and make you inhale some rubber glove (i saw someone already commented that the band leaves some markings on the tank when you disassemble). But you're right, there's that option not to use them anyway.

I think the marking it leaves is condensation due to its design. But yeap hopefully you like the airflow without the band

That's one of the things I love the most.
Took another band, made smaller holes for less airflow, and I'm happily tootling away at .8 dual coils, 25w approx. Any vapeband you have lying around will work well. Just punch at desired, and you can make several holes. Haven't tried it for single coil, will do when this build dies.

Most bands are silicone, not rubber. Won't change consistency with heat, but it's not meant for super low builds. If you intend to build .1 something coils, better do it without anything.

I've found this is the best way to build for this deck, for maximum airflow/flavor/vapor.
Excuse the nastiness, it's been working overtime. :thumb:

does it wick well with that much cotton?

gonna be getting my aromamizer pretty soon.
hoping ill be able to switch back to tanks and wouldnt mind doing it if the flavour was 80% as good as a dripper since its much more convenient.
