Steel? Brass? Copper? pipe mod

I always hear about copper but all ive found at a few local places is brass and steel. Steel being way cheaper.

Has anyone used steel pipe for a pipe bat mod before? Any reason why or why not to use steel instead?

Go to your Home Depot and buy copper pipe...it should be in the plumbing section.

ETA - That is if you plan on doing a pipe mod.

If you're building a mod that requires flat sheet, then Contenti sells copper sheet in different thicknesses (I'd go with 18g, "maybe" 20g).
