So ... out in the fields today, huh! And with a cowboy hat! OK, I believe you are the Texas girl claimed in your profile. [Doesn't mean hither nor thither to this New Jersey boy, but I guess you country folk care about such things.:D]

Jan, regarding the airflow/fit between the Analog Alternative cartos and VOLT batts: Did you try to adjust the center post in the cartomizer? Notice that there is a slot there for a regular-head screwdriver. [I've just started to fiddle with these things myself, mainly to work effectively with adapters.]

Yes I did, some time ago. Thing is, that screwdriver fitting doesn't correlate to screw threads, it just turns a fitting held into place by a gasket. I can pull out fittings a bit by sticking one of the prongs of my needle-nosed tweezers into it and pulling slightly, sort of does help it by turning and if it has some e-liquid on it.

Thing is, I'm hunting for piece parts that all work together without a newbie having to monkey with it, otherwise, to me, it goes into the "modding" category. But still, with the AA cartomizer, the center is way too far up to be able to pull it down without fear of breaking the heating coil, I mean, this sucker is way high up in there, lol.
