Been vaping few months now and honestly heard a few different ways to steep your e liquid. Some told me to leave the cap off for 24 hrs , some told me leaving the cap off is no good , others say just shake and leave in a dark box/cabinet at room temp.

Me personally all I been doing is shaking sometimes taking the cap off for few mins then back into my cabinet , im wondering which is the best way to get flavors out of the e liquids that you vets are doing ? im vaping 12mg/6mg nic :vapor:

There are many ways to steep juice and you've listed a few. Other methods are to put the bottles in a pan of hot water, shaking now and then. Others use a jewelry cleaner and some add already steeped juice to the new juice. I'm sure others will come along with other ways to steep juice.

Leaving the cap off allows any alcohol to evaporate to reduce harness. Some say it helps with steeping but I've never done that. I just leave my juice in a dark, cool place until it taste right.

Steeping eliquids is all about "diffusion" per Hoosier and Kurt--who just happen to be experts on the subject.

Other than that, unless you DYI, taste your juice when it arrives--if you like it, vape it. If you don't like it, let it sit for a while... It may get better, but it may also get much worse. Eliquid flavors change with time; I like some of my favorite juices when they are very young, others taste better--to my taste buds--after a while. We're all different. YMMV. Whatever works!

Taking the cap off has nothing to do with steeping. You leave the cap off overnight only if your eliquid has an overpowering odor--alcohol, perfume, etc. and you want to get rid of that. With any luck, those offending volatile molecules will evaporate.

Happy vaping!

Cap off is bad advice. Can cause the flavor and nicotine to oxidize. Ultrasonic cleaners will do it. Room temp or warm water temp and shaking. They make a thing called a milk frother a small battery operated small tip mixer but be careful I believe they only have one speed. FAST. I made a magnetic stirrer. I put my juice bottle in a bigger jar of hot water and turn on the magnetic mixer. There are plans for a DIY mag mixer our you can spend over $100 for one. Mine uses a piece of wood two 5mm x 3mm permanent magnets a 1/4 threaded rod and a piece of wood. That and the magnetic stire rod you can find on ebay and amazon. I had all this stuff already so it cost me nothing except for the magnetic stir rod..
