Steeping e liquids "Quicker"

I've seen Youtube vids where some suggest that placing DIY liquids in hot water will allow one to use the new liquids once they've "steeped" in the hot water for a little while. Is this true, or is there another method one can use?

you can, of course, try the liquids right away - the main flavors that really need steeping are the tobacco, and complex dessert flavors.

don't use "hot" water but about 100-110 degrees

just shake them up frequently to help the flavors meld together quicker
