I'm hearing people talk about steeping the juices. From what I can understand it means letting it sit for a length of time to enhance the flavor. My questions are: is this really necessary? how much time? light vs. dark storage?

I'm a newbie (2 weeks vaping now) and there is an overwhelming amount of info out there so I thought it might just be best to post my question here and get opinions from people first-hand. Thanks for any input.

Try a juice. If you like it, vape on! If you don't, put the cap back on and put it in a cool dark place for a week, give it a good shake every day, and try it again. Repeat as necessary. If the juice contains alcohol, leave the cap off overnight after you get it to let the alcohol evaporate. Liquids will change with time, both in appearance and taste.

These are two bottles of the same liquid. One (left) is fresh and one (right) is six weeks old. The older juice has been in my steeping drawer for that long. By know I know which juices I buy need a good steep. I open them up for a minute or two just to introduce a little air, and then do what I just described.
