Welcome to the forum! I say steep, shmeep.
Try one out, if you like it as is then don't steep it vape it.
If you don't like the taste then set it aside(let it steep) and
grab another flavour to try........

If I like it right off the bat I don't let air or light get to it(anti-steep mode)
to keep it fresh.

If you don't like any of 'em, best to order some more samples, what you
have may or may not get any better. JME.:vapor::vapor:

Minne-soda!
I just ordered a few flavors from Pink spot. My free gift was rip tide, ready to vape. Then I got peach, usa menthol, usa blend, french vanilla, pink spot on the rocks. and frozen lime drop. Rip tide is okay - blue raspberryish. USA menthol is icky, more of a caramel menthol, it's weird. That and USA blend smell super gross. French vanilla smells good, but doesn't taste that great. How long are pink spot flavors supposed to be steeped. To me right now they taste fairly chemical.

I have had the same chemical/perfumy taste experience as you have from them. Steeping in most cases does improve the taste but not by much.

The one flavor that did develop very nicely however was the apple pie.

I think that they are a great company with lots of potential but need to really focus on improving their product flavors IMO - get rid of that chem taste that's going on.

If you pick out the PG/VG ratio, chances are it's made to order. In that case, they recommend letting it steep. You'll find the same thing if you ever try DIY, they need to steep as well. How much the flavor changes or is enhanced probably depends on how complex the flavor is.

Flavors change and develop over time. Just as a homemade soup can be enjoyed on the day you finish it, it usually tastes even better the next day or the day after that. But there's no reason you can't eat it when it's done. And if the soup isn't good today, it's still going to be bad tomorrow.

So buy a little and if you like it, buy a lot. Ration off a little to vape while you let the bottle sit. And sooner or later you'll have a stockpile so letting them sit isn't a big deal. Some flavors are a little perfumey and you may be able to taste some alcohol. Letting them breath and steep helps but you'll never take a flavor that's bad and steep it into something good.

Just received a new liquid order. Steep liquid for 4-6 days. Really! I waited a week for the order, dying to try the new flavors, and now I have to wait!

Is this really necessary!

Not always necessary but with a little age, comes blending of the flavors. You can speed it up by removing both the cap and the dripper and letting air get to it. Sit it out of sunlight, away from pets and little people. After 24 hours, recap, shake and give'r a try. If you need to do it again, do it for another 24 hours.

I am way too impatient for the steeping thing so I tend to "modify" a juice if I don't care for the taste. I keep a bottle of unflavored and add some to any "perfurmey" type flavors, it usually works, and if it is not enough to cut the flavor I add some straight VG in to cut it further. And if all else fails I throw peppermint at it until it covers up the elements I don't like. Of course that means I end up with "ALOT" of peppermint juice LOL!! good thing I really like peppermint. I am positive that alot of people have very sensitive palates but I myself really do not. I would be a terrible reviewer of juices as I can barley pick up a "top" tone, so under tones are lost on me. So for me I just tinker with it until I can vape it. Also since I can't taste subtle elements I tend to stay away from complex juices, currently Peach, Blueberry, and Root Beer are the ones I am liking, and of course a large supply of peppermint juice is always right there on the table.

on some juices sometimes steeping is nessesary to get the full enjoyment out of your juice
