Question for you much more seasoned DIYers...

I have tried to make a liquid with TFA's Black Tea. I've also tried to make a liquid with TFA's Hibiscus. Obviously both of those flavors have ethyl alcohol, and they are both extremely strong flavors.

Do y'all steep these particular flavors individually before mixing it with other flavors for the final mixed liquid steeping?

I'm not sure if I'm just noobzoring out with the whole ethyl alcohol situation, which is probably the case regardless, but I thought I'd ask the community. The final mixed liquids just end up smelling super intense and still have a hint of alcohol.

Thanks!

The TFA Black Tea Sucks, I don't care how long you steep it or leave the cap off it's still going to be :censored:

IMO

In our opinion, that is a very valid opinion. We can't recall EVER reading where anyone used it satisfactorily (we certainly couldn't, because yeah, it sucks).

And if we're recalling correctly (don't have our notes 'at the ready'), we tried the Hibiscus at 2%, and it was 'nuttin' but cat box...but I do remember someone saying at wee-tiny percentages it works okay (like .5% or lower???).

If you pull off a decent vape with those two, you'll certainly have our kudos!

I use hibiscus in a Raspberry/rose candy blend. 2% is all you need. I think we2rcool would love the rose vape... ;-)

Raspberry/Hibiscus sounds delightful. But ewwwww, Rose Candy ;) (insert cat with hairball sound here).

Now you've gone & done it...we're just finishing up a big TFA order, and I'm a sucker for forcing myself to get over 'flavor aversions'...so now I'm gonna have to order some.

If I end up liking this, I'm gonna hold you responsible! :::grin:::

I like TFA's Green Tea around 3%, and it's really good. Their Black Tea was a total flop for me. FlavourArt's Black Tea is great at 2-3%, but their Green Tea belongs in the reject bin with TFA's Green. At least there's one good flavoring for each of those teas. TFA's Earl Grey is also stellar, if you like the real thing.
