Steeping?

Hi, just received first order from here, tang dreamsicle, strawberry & watermelon (plus a sample pack). Do they need steeping?? Have heard the term but not really sure if it's necessary, or does it really make a difference?

They all smell amazing, but can't really get the taste through. Using a KGO, tried dripping & a carto...or could it be they're just not the flavors for me?

Hi Greynz, the sample packs all come pre-steeped so you can definitely start there. For the other flavors, steeping is really a personal choice. Some people religiously steep all e-liquids for 1, 2 even 4 or more weeks before use. Steeping deepens flavors, allows them to age and ripen and reach their full potential. Often the complexity of the flavors comes forward and the flavor does get somewhat stronger. But other people don't steep at all and use flavors right away. So it's really up to you and what tastes good to you. If you aren't getting much taste, you may need stronger flavor. Not sure if you ordered the standard or extra flavoring or how long it's been since you smoked analogues but that and hardware can significantly influence how strongly flavors come through as can individual tastes. Some flavors are naturally stronger also such as the Tangerine Dreamsicle whereas the Watermelon is naturally a bit lighter. Let me know if any of this helps!

Thanks Annette, yup, may have been having a bad taste bud day. have come back to them, don't think anything's changed as such but they're all good... just wish i bought more than a sample of your KCM! Will be back for more shortly.
