Ive seen on nt website the way Clark wants us to steep our juice, So i have been doing this now for about a month and been adding several more bottles to the steeping party in this time spam. Its quite a chore but i understand that is well worth it.. My question is I also read on forums all the time that someone says look what i found in my, oh i forgot about this, this way laying in my desk drawer and i forgot about. Is it ok to just let the juice hang out without opening bottle and shaking and does it steep properly and taste good too? Either way I'm gona do it like the website says. Oh ya one more question, do i need to pull the little cap off the bottle or is ok to just take unscrew and remove the purple cap? Was gona ask in the newbie section of forums, but Ive come to trust what i read here.

Heres what I do when I get a new bottle from Clark,
1st day I shake then take the cap and nipple off and let it sit for 24 hours.
Then i replace cap and nipple, shake and put away
for the first week I breath the bottle each day by just removing the purple cap. 3 pumps for breathing, replace cap and then shake
after the first week, I will probably shake the bottle 1 time a week and maybe do the breath thing...depends on if i remember :)

I've found that putting them in the dungeon and remember to shake when you think about it works fine. The only juices I breath are the ones that have a perfume smell to them. None of Nicoticket's products have that for me, so usually they go into the dungeon, and the occassional shake. I did this with Custard's Last Stand. It was great out of the mailbox but got even better after about a month. Patience with NT yields great results.

One thing I want to say though is the Virus is ever changing, so it's best to find where you like it via dripping, then roll with it. Gravity gets very very dense after steeping and is really really nice if you have the patience.

Can I pay you to do this to mine? Just kidding, that's exactly what I do, down to a T. Well I try to shake them every 3 hours while the cap is off for the first 24.

Partsmunkie, I would recommend letting them breathe. I get my bottles 2-3 weeks after everyone else (can't WAIT for the Raz Cup) so I notice that mine changes later. For example with the PBC, about a week after everyone got there bottle, they woke up and it had gone from almost clear to much darker, and a week after that even darker than that. At that point, I got my bottle in the mail and it was still clear; the nicotine was not oxidized. I'm pretty sure it was still a lot more steeped than what it would have been day 1, but getting some air in there for 24 hours will help with the deep steeps. And then like DaBuc says, once a week I pump it a few times - in the process of dripping a bit and testing them.

Da Bucs is spot on... I need to revisit the steeping recommendations because that was written before we pre-steeped. Air is much less of a concern because of the pre-steeped nature of the liquid!

Maybe that's why with the PBC it was still clear when I got it because it was a fresher release.

Does anyone use an ultrasonic cleaner to quick steep their liquids?

Do the liquids really need air to steep? I've seen two videos about steeping from the same guy and on the second one he said the whole air thing isn't needed.

I discourage it, but I know several people who have systems that work for them.
