Is there anything different about a top fill tank besides the obvious? I get that you fill it from the top but why do they make top and bottom fill is one better or function better then the other?

BTW - There is One Down Side to a Top Fill Tank.

And that is you can Fill the Tank with enough e-liquid so that if you Need to unscrew the Base from the Tank, you're going get e-liquid pouring out of the Center Tube.

This Isn't and Issue when your Set-Up is running good. But I tell people that on a New Build with the RBA Section, or when you put a Replace the Coil Head, only fill the Tank about 1/3 of the way.

That way if you have to Unscrew the Base to Adjust the Coil/Cotton, you don't make a Big Mess.

Once things are Running Smooth, you fill your tank to the Top.

Easy enough to fix with a syringe, a must have item with vaping.

Hello all, I am new to this site and to vaping as a whole. I recently made the switch from a pack a day to a vaporizer, I love vaping!. I never knew I would like it so much. I started with an e cig, bought an upgraded e cig kit, still wanted more so I went to my local vape store and they had me but an Innokin starter kit. About a day after using that p.o.s. I was tired of it and still wanted more clouds and better satisfaction. Went back to the same store and they hooked me up with a Kanger 1650 battery and Aspire bvc tanks. This is what I am currently using and once again it's not performing like I want. I guess everyone goes thru this when they start but after 3 weeks of constant frustration, I want to purchase my last and final kit.

Oh yeah girl, I've been there and done that. When I started out I went through one sucky thing after another, none of them performing like I wanted, none of them satisfying me. I didn't do kits though. That stuff is put together in packages by retailers who are just packaging goods for sale, not trying to give you a satisfying vape. The idea is to sell a bunch of things instead of just one thing.

I did the cheap cigalike, which sucked, then the ego/clearo thing, which sucked, then the Protank thing, which sucked, and then.... then... I got a mech and an RBA. I learned to build that RBA and found out what a real vape is. You might be going through the same thing I did, just trying to get satisfaction, and finding the mass marketed crap just doesn't cut it. I know not what course you make eventually take, but I found out that nothing beats a well built genny on a mech.

I suspect you will end up rebuilding. You don't sound like the type to settle for something that doesn't satisfy you.

Nope I am not and just as you said, every visit, they sell me something else. At first they were all very accommodating and I still believe they meant well but...4 visits later I was still asking the same basic questions and it bothered me that they continued to skip over the really important stuff, like step 1, not clarifying how to inhale on a vaporizer, I burnt out so many wicks on the pos they sold me and I am still haunted by that taste lol luckily I found this forum and you all steered me in the right direction and now my new kit is on its way, I just never thought it would go like this, I am like $150-200 in already, which I think after the first $60 they could have directed me a couple steps up instead of just the next step. In any event, thankfully I am on the right path and yes your right eventually I will build my own, with all of your help I know I'll get there.

Thank you, appreciate your help....Stupid question, what are the bands for? I have seen them but don't see any pics with them on to know what they are for

You're welcome.

Basically for protecting your glass against impacts, useful for using as a grip for twisting the glass or tank off and you can cover the air holes with them.

Those will do nicely. Take a look at the LG HE2s as well. They are also 20A, 3000mAh batteries, like the 30Qs, and you might be able to get then a bit cheaper, depending on where you order and what's on sale today. The charger you can buy anywhere you like, and you might be able to get a combo deal with charger and batteries together. I buy all of my batteries from RTDVapor, Orbtronic or Illumn, and I suggest you check all three places for stock availability and pricing. You're going to like that charger. I have a D4 and it's my favorite.

Thank you, I was actually on two of those sites comparing prices, I like to know they are good sites..what is the difference between these batteries? I see 30Q, 20A and then I see high discharge and flat top..without getting too technical what is the difference? I should probably try to understand a little about them

I can't go into too much detail as did not memorize it, but generally speaking pairing the right batteries to a particular device will result in optimum output and longer operating time before recharge.

I've got a few 18650 batteries I've added to my go to list, which include the Samsung 25R and 30Q, Sony VTC4 and VTC5, and LG HG2. I don't think the Top Box Mini's KBox is very power demanding, so I personally would be comfortable with any of the options listed above.

The technical difference is the battery chemistry and the manufacturer. They are both "high-discharge" and flat top. Both are INR type Lithium batteries, and both are safe for vaping. Unless you want to get deep in the weeds, the difference you'll see in service is the color of the wrap and not much else :) BTW, I had a typo on my earlier post: the LG HE2 is an excellent quality 20A battery, but it is only 2500mAh capacity, not the 3000mAh I had said. The 3000mAh part is the HG2. The essential issues for you are 20Amps, which is what you need for your machine. The difference in mAh is the battery's capacity to store electricity, and therefore last longer before needing recharge. I meant to put you on the HG2 because it has equal storage to the 30Q battery. The HE2 is also a fine battery, it just doesn't last quite as long (about 20%) as the others. The term mAh means milliamp-hours, meaning a 3000mAh battery will support a 1mA current for 3000 hours before going flat; or a 10mA current for 300 hours; or a 100mA current for 30 hours, etc. This is how batteries are rated for storage capacity. (I think it's stupid, myself. I believe it'd be easier to understand if they were rated in watt-hours, but that's not what they do.) The term "flat top" refers to the physical characteristics of the battery positive contact and the flat tops are obviously flat. The other kind is "button top" and it has a button on the top of the positive contact like a flashlight battery. Flat top is what you want.

Thank you, that's a great idea! I knew I wasn't gonna throw them out but didn't know what I was gonna do with them, that's a great idea, thank you
Another thing that you can do with those juices is get some VG. Any flavors that you kinda like but, are not sure of, use the VG and dilute it a bit to tone the flavor down. I have a few flavors I do this with from certain venders. Sometimes flavors are too strong. Sometimes less is more. I prefer subtle flavors.

I have a kanger subox which is probably similar not as much wattage and no TC but I think it's ok but my favourite is actually the kanger evod. It's not subohm or anything special but I think it's awesome. It's shaped more a cigarette being cylindrical. And i actually prefer it over my subtank. Maybe I'm just weird.

I didn't know this or even think of it, thank you. I wish I had known that chocolate is a hard flavor to do right, I mostly ordered chocolate so I will try this or combine as suggested but if I combine two juices that both have .6 nicotine how does that affect the potency?

Thank you, I think that's what I have and although it might do for you, because I am fresh from quitting smoking it's not enough right now. Maybe when I am past this stage it will be better for me, it does work well just not enough kick right now. It doesn't help that I picked one of the most stressful times in my life so I really don't want to go back which is why I chose to upgrade...After 20 years I am FINALLY done smoking...yeah! :)

If they both start out at 6, they'll finish at 6. If you take Xml of 18 and mix it with 2Xml of 0, you'll have 3Xml of 6, and so forth.
