I think a puff counter would scare me. Why on earth would I want to know how many gajillion puffs I take a day? LOL

I'm trying like hell to get less of my things connected to the internet. No joke. If I want the internet, I'll turn on my computer. Not turn my car key, not adjust the thermostat, not turn on the lights, and sure as hell not control my PV.

Wait a minute ... there's a PV that can be controlled over the internet:banana::rickroll::banana:

How come I haven't heard about it yet?!

Oh sigh.

The members who post on ECF are a small segment of the vaping world. The members who like debating VV vs VW are an even smaller group. Smaller still are the number of people who would run out and buy a ProVari if it came out in VW. ProVape is a business, they are in this to make money. "You" are not their target customer. Their target customers are people like my friends, who bought ProVaris because they liked mine. It's well made, durable and comes with a warranty. End of story. They don't know a watt from a wallaby and couldn't care less. It's little, it fits in your purse, and $200.00 is nothing if it's your only mod and you aren't running around trying every new toy that hits the market.

Why would a profitable company redesign their best selling product when it sells just fine the way it is? You can ask Coca-Cola about that stroke of genius. I'm not saying it's the best device on the planet. I'm not saying it suits the needs of every vaper. What I'm saying is don't get a ProVari if you don't want one. In fact, I don't want you to get a ProVari at all, we are running out of ice on the veranda.

Smallest group of all cat lady's who speak with pictures;-)

Puff counters can be used as a battery gauge. X amount of puffs and its time to change the bat. Also there are some weird people who like to know these things. The same brand of weirdo who would make a spread sheet and not even do it under threat of a boss!

I know. I used to play with spread sheets, too...lol

I don't need a battery gauge, either. I just make sure I have my batteries charged and change them when the light starts flashing. I'm aware not all devices have that function and it isn't always practical to use a battery tester.

EvilZoe you are a Lady of the first order.
You fibber...lol

Uh-oh. I better not say anything.

Would a dedicated relational database fit into that threshold of one of your aforementioned "spreadsheets"?

Not that I would ever do anything like that, of course. I'm just wondering.

Really.

I don't own a Provari, and I highly doubt I ever will, only because they are just too big and heavy...

Sorry I haven't read all the posts yet, but if I don't respond when I first think of it I will forget.

As I previous posted, I don't want you to get a ProVari. We are still waiting for ice and are getting a bit low on canapes. I had to jusmp in though to address the size of a ProVari. I agree that their weight brings a Maglite to mind, but pictures of their size online are misleading. This one is more representational. It doesn't look real, but it is. It's a mini with a standard cap.

The first step is admitting the prob, spreadsheet man. ;)

Hang tight, Dear Ocelot, I've got the Celica PACKED with ice and will pickup some canapes en route! I will not let you down.

I must admit though, it's a bit chilly in this car.
