Hello everyone!
My username on here is eV4P3, but my IRL name is Mike. Around a year and a half ago, I was vaping and starting to mix my own liquids. However, I was young and returned to the analogs until around two weeks ago when I found my Ego-T while cleaning out my garage. Also found many of my old eliquids. Anyways, I'm now off the analogs again and honestly never felt better. I purchased some DIY supplies earlier and am ready to get back to a smoke-free life.

I'm already feeling the need to exercise more, eat better and overall life healthier, starting with returning to vaping. I am into the fruity flavor liquids but also enjoy Coffee flavors occasionally. So that's just a little about me, I'm happy to be a part of this community and hope to meet some fellow DIYers in the process. So hello, world! :)

Hi Mike! Welcome back!

Just a few more chat posts and then you can go play in the DIY sub forum too! You can read there now, but need at least 5 posts in the New Members forum before you can begin posting there. -> DIY E-Liquid

I'm always curious when this comes up: Why did you drop vaping and go back to butts?

Yep this post will actually mark my fifth post xD
Ahhh so much to explain, so little time. As I said, I was younger. I did pretty well, loved vaping and everything, but I had an urge to smoke, which I don't have now. It's kinda funny, smoke longer, and it's somehow easier to switch back to vaping then when you had been smoking for a shorter period of time. Irony, eh?

No - that makes sense. On one level we see that a lot. Some times people just weren't satisfied with what they were getting out of their hardware. That, fortunately, changes exponentially about every six months. It's amazing how much hardware keeps changing for the better.

There's also the mindset thing too. You always have to want to really quit in order to stay away from it. When I started vaping, after 30 years of smoking, bet your .... I wanted to quit. I have absolutely no interest in smoking anything again.

Some of the forum systems update every hour, at 25 minutes past. That would be the point at which you could begin posting elsewhere. Logging out and back in isn't a bad idea either to reset your ECF cookies.

That brings me to another point - hardware. I recently changed from a standard top filling tank to a bottom fed tank. One major plus: If I tip me ecig upside down while vaping, it doesn't drip into my mouth lol!

That's also a factor. I'm more in the mindset of quitting now then I ever have been. Plus I'm more able to feel the change in my health now then before.

Ah alright I'll try that otherwise I've got 15 mins to kill :p

What kinda tank setup are you using?

You also hit the right time to be here if you need to buy. You just missed out on the black Friday deals. But a lot of places will be running Christmas and New Years sales. You will want to keep an eye on this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/pay-forward-pif/418767-deals-steals.html
Go to the last page in that thread and work backwards until you see sale info that's stale dated.

I'm not very term savvy on what to call mine, but as I said, it is a bottom loader, with the ability to take out the wick by unscrewing it from the tank as they're two seperate pieces. It has three airholes, 1/16 I believe. Other than that it's difficult to explain. I'll definitely want an upgrade here pretty soon, as I'm still using my old Ego-T battery. Its nice, but I would really like the ability to change voltage, or at least higher voltage.

What's VV mean? I had thought of going with the Twist at one point, but I'm thinking I want something not so.. pen like. Something modded, and a little bigger. I'll keep my current ecig for travelling around, but for home use I want something that gives more smoke and better throat hits. Sometimes I can't even taste my juice in my Ego T, lol

VV - variable voltage. Actually if you are having problems tasting flavor right now with your fixed voltage battery you will probably want the Twist anyway for out and about.

Maybe I'll have to get the Twist then, thanks for that! I want to get an APV of some sort, as I've heard they're quite nice for home use. Thing is, I don't understand any of the differences other than being able to give more vapor and having higher/variable voltage. The help topics on them were of use, but I still don't entirely understand. Any tips on which APV to start with? I should be able to go from there once I try one for myself.

I too have come back from the grave to haunt the vaping world :D

I would definitely call quitting analogs a return from the grave, of sorts, lol. Welcome back :D

Welcome back Mike & ImplicitDeath! You guys rock!

No, you rock! Thanks :vapor:
