Right Over Here
Shew...long day...

He had real hospital food today...ziti, some sort of green bean, sliced apple and tea.
He showed me how he talks by putting a plug in his trach tube. He still kinda sounds like himself...was a relief.
They said that in 2 or 3 days he can go to a step down room and begin aggressive rehab.
I only stayed for 4 hours...got sleepy.

A few minutes ago the hosp. called, they are moving him to a step down room right now instead of waiting.
I think this is wonderful !

I so love you all, your support and thoughts and prayers is truely what has gotten me through this nightmare.
I don't think I have ever wanted to like a post multiple times more! Thank you so much for the wonderful update! That is fantastic progress!

Today a smaller trach tube was put in...so far so good...if he does well with this, he has the possibility of having it removed on Saturday.
He is able to cough on his own too.
I can't believe the changes is the past couple of days...rapid changes.
He ate all of his breakfast and all of his lunch...I think this is fantastic !
