The respirator pump has been off for 2 hours with him just receiving blown oxygen...so far so good.
They also shut off the vacuum pump for draining his lungs even tho he is still draining fluid. (I don't get that...)
This afternoon they are going to do swallowing and speech tests, he is a drooling mess.
