So, I've been e-ciggin' for about a year now. At the time the kGO seemed to be my best buy, lots of praise on here. I can't tell you what version I have, but it was from hoosier and came with two batteries, 5 click rubbery button on/off.
It's never let me down. I'm pretty cautious as to how tightly I screw in the battery to charge or attach an accessory - so the battery posts seem fine. Both batteries have been recharged dozens of times and still last days. I don't vape nonstop though I do have some spikes in usage when driving or whatever, but the battery life is pleasing.
I decided to make a big juice order as I got a Kanger T3 and like to stick with one good flavor as long as I can so I don't have to dump and refill/waste. In making this new juice order I'm wondering if I should upgrade my hardware too.
Like I said, I've never once had an issue or been irritated with my kGOs. I do like shiny new things though and LCD screens. I know a lot of you have purchased a few kits before settling on one in particular. I've never really felt a need to adjust voltage as vapor production has always been great provided the battery isn't leaked on to.
Should I just stick with what I've got until they're toast? At ~$45/kit it doesn't seem like I really need something that I can unscrew and replace the battery on, but dangit I like fancy crap! I can justify spending up to about $65 on a battery/kit and it's even better if I get two batterys and essentially two complete setups. Seems like when I was reading in to this years ago there were many more fancy kits offered and all over youtube with the LCD screens and VV, but I can't find as many now. Maybe this is good and the good stuff has found its way to the winners circle.
Okay, so stupid post - any suggestions that allow me to keep all my accessories without needing threading adapters and blah, or if you were perfectly content with the kGO but wanted something neat and new - would you try out something else just for giggles? I don't have anything to compare mine to but taste/warmth/production are all exceptional. I'm surprised I haven't already had the itch - I hold off modifying or tweaking anything to a certain point... but just like with new vehicles, they stay stock for a while and I tell myself "This is great" and then I get the fever and start throwing on lift kits and auxiliary lighting and bells/whistles.
