How I wish I never would have dealt with this company! After numerous phone calls finally got my account cancelled. They received the unopened kit from me on Nov. 2nd. My refund is still 'processing'
I was told it would take 'up to 72 hours' for my refund, kinda late wouldn't you say?
So glad I found this forum and such awesome customer service from V4L!
Thanks for letting me vent:evil:

I feel your pain! When I got my SE, they would not do refunds of any way shape or form. I was in at the mall kiosk every other day getting either batteries or attys replaced. At least they were able to keep me off analogs long enough until I found V4L and this forum, but I'm positive that SE wouldn't have worked for me if there wasn't a supplier in town.

Hope you get refunded soon!

I feel your pain, I've had issues with SE too...

My wife made the mistake of ordering the 14 day trial for the SE Gold. We never got the SE Gold and got charged $99 14 days later. So I called on October 15th to get a refund and was told it would be done. Well a few days later the SE Gold arrives and no refund.

My second call was on October 23rd, they offered me the kit at 1/2 price, so I agreed, because I was interested in getting off the analogs. So I was now supposed to get $49 back and keep the SE Gold. I was also given the 72 hours line about the refund.

Third call was on November 3rd. Got the same guy I spoke to on the 23rd. Told him about the refund not showing up. So he said he would get it fixed and it would be 72 hours again.

By November 9th I still had no refund, so I called again, a different guy said he would do the refund manually, whatever that meant. But I was happy to see the $49 credit showing up today at my bank.

I think they just try to blow you off several times so hopefully you'll just go away. If you keep after them they finally give you the refund.

Good luck.

It takes like two minutes to do a refund for someone through a credit card gateway, it might take up to 24 hours for it to show up on the card.

If they have the goods, promised you a refund in 72 hours, and it didn't happen, it's high time to call you ccard company or bank and get an immediate credit on your card.

This is ridiculous, I have a ccard merchant account and would never dream of screwing with my customers like that and all their rigamarole bs excuses are nothing but jerking you around. Get them with your ccards on a chargeback for that money.

You know what's scary about these people is that some of the stuff I've read about them says that the charge comes off and then mysteriously appears again. I know that there is a place in the gateway where they have to specifically and manually check a box in order to cause a recurring charge like that. They all have that built into them, but the gateway will not just start doing that on its own, someone has to cause it to happen.

This is so dangerous because many people do not have that much extra cash in the bank on their debit cards and can cause overdrafts for them and it can also cause you to go over the limit on the ccards and that causes interest rates to jump skyhigh and there's a huge fee for going over the limit. These people are playing with fire that deal with them.

Not to mention, it's illegal as hell to play with someone's money like that with those cards.

And no good deed goes unpunished. (not really, but you kwim)
