After just over a week testing lots of different samples from lots of different vendors, I've learned a lot. A little natural sweetness is enjoyable, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth. There are some coffee and chocolate flavors that I find yummy, but after a little while, they start sticking in my mouth and feel a bit....I dunno...."heavy"?

I find good simple tobacco flavors to be really enjoyable, but they dry me out and become boring after about 1/2 a carto.

I have found that mixing them together works great for me. Yes, I know there are vendors who do this, but even those flavors tend to be a little too much on the sweet side for me, and lack the TH I like from basic tobacco flavors (a great example of this is Vaperite VR4)

Last night's creation was a mix of 1/2 FSUSA Burley tobacco and 1/2 Johnson Creek Chocolate Truffle.....delish! This morning, it's FSUSA Wyatt Earp mixed with Vaperite's Kona Cream....also delish, but I think PureCig might be a better mixer for the KC next time.

I find that these combinations allow me to vape through an entire carto without feeling compelled to switch mid-stream. In fact, last night, I kept topping off a carto with the Burley/Chocolate Truffle combo, I liked it so much.

Being a noob and having ordered lots of 3 ml samples, the little empty bottles come in handy for creating and testing new concoctions.

Personally I think Ms.T's Bakery is amazing!!! She was the 3rd vendor I bought from and I haven't gone anywhere else since! I would definitely suggest going to her thread and the e-liquid review thread. And buy small bottles! I don't buy anything larger than 6ml to test any flavor. Sadly that means I won't be trying Kick Bass anytime soon although everyone seems to love them! I would also suggest not writing off any juice/vendor until the juices have steeped for at least 2 weeks. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, just when sampling future juices. Alien Visions has a nice sampler setup, never tired them but I love sample deals!!

Maybe you should think about the economics of Kick Bass again. Mrs. T. charges $5 for a 6 ml bottle and her shipping is $5.20 last time I checked. KBV charges $6 to $6.50 depending on the mg of nicotine and the shipping is $2.50. You get a lot more at not that much more cost. I do buy from Mrs. T from time to time but found my favorites to date are KBV, Southern Ambrosia (they have sample sizes,) and FSUSA.

I would try vendors that sell 3ml samples. Only 3 companies is not nearly enough. All juices are not created equal. Why don't you start next w/natural, organic juices or house extracted flavors from real tobacco and real coffee beans.

Vaperite and Want2Vape. Both have house extracted tobaccos and coffees. Vaperite also has organic and natural juices.

I too feel your pain...it's taken countless orders from different vendors and tons of cash to find just a few that I truly enjoy. I think my thing is that I like richer flavors, and most vendors sell very plain stuff, pretty blah stuff. fsusa's stuff isn't bad, just pretty blah to my tastebuds IMHO.

Trial and error is big part of vaping, but for my money, so far, want2vape, tastyvapor, and velvet vapors have the best quality, taste and value. At the end of the day, no matter how inexpensive a juice is, if you don't like it, it's money wasted, so if you find one you like a lot, even it's a little more pricey, you're getting your money's worth.

Want2vape and velvet vapors have sample sizes, maybe worth a shot. tasty vapor doesn't sell samples, so it's hit or miss, but haven't tried much that I didn't like...they are pretty true to the flavor name, so if you pick something with flavors you like...you probably will like the juice. Heard great things about vaperite, haven't tried it yet, but they have samples too.

Another thing that helps out is to find some other vapers that have similar taste to yours and share the juice and the cost. I found a great buddy here on ECF and we swap juice and share often...works out great for both of us!
