One word: chili. I haven't tried VS, but tried 5 "tobacco" flavors from FSUSA including their best seller Wyatt Earp. I woke up coughing at night. It's pepper juice to me. I suspect that's supposed to emulate the "spicy" tobacco taste, didn't do it for me. I still have the samples, money wasted, but nice folks there though.

I'm vaping VG Dekang USA Mix (the real one, some fakes out there). The flavor's mild, never overwhelms, so mild that I need some DK-TAB to offset sometimes.

I might try some Dekang. They had a tobacco I wanted to try but have been avoiding it because I think I may not tolerate cheap flavoring very well (I have the same problem with cheap perfumes and colognes, some laundry detergents, some deodorant soaps, some shampoos, etc. -- I literally can not breath when I encounter AXE). I am assuming Dekang uses cheap flavoring because of the price though so I could be wrong.

How far from Laurel did you get? I used to live in the Hagerstown area and near Philly before that.

TastyVapor.us is pretty cheap too, based in Oakland, CA. Read their FAQ on price. I suspect price has nothing to do with the quality of ingredients, more with profits. Have we considered that e-juice is more expensive than gasoline, bottled water, milk, beer and even liquor? Why?

I completely agree. It's all company based. Like I said, look at epuffer. They are pushing generic liquids (clear plastic bottle/orange cap) for $30/30ml. Crazy!! Fooled me once but only once! VS sells high quality liquid in glass bottles and not for $30!! FSUSA was not at all for me. Yucky! It's all so subjective but the OP is getting that swallowing glass feeling. Not fun. Had that before from a liquid inside a cart from e cig in China.

I have problems with a lot of flavourings as of late and can't vape many juices. I love dekang. I swapped back over to dekang and now my wheeze is gone, my throat has cleared up and I breath easier. some flavourings just kill me. though I also can't vape gh1 nic base and I know 2 friends here that can't either.

I'm starting to go for all natural or organic juices to be safe, though I think I will try Dekang and some of the others Landhew mentioned.

I've become a BWB Casablanca fangirl but the last time I went to order they were out so I decided to try a few others. One is "Applewood" which definitely has a real bite to it, either from adding a wood or pepper flavoring or both. I had to let it steep for a while (about 2 weeks) to get the flavors to blend and now it's got a really nice taste with some sharpness but without that awful bite. Maybe your juices need to steep for awhile before becoming palatable? I hope so as I know what it's like to waste hard earned money on juice that makes you gag (or in your case sick, which is even worse) before you find vape heaven.

It feels like I'm coming down with a really bad cold (or even the flu) and my throat feels raw.
Got the same thing from some of the pre loaded cartos from V4L. Thought I was PG allergic, but found that it was something in certain of their flavorings (any of the Wowboy, Wowbacco, etc and their coffee and espresso) that would almost choke me and cause a sore throat if I persisted in trying to vape it. I can vape their pg based 555 or Camel all day long, no prob. Same with a lime 100% pg flavor from Vaperite.

well, i figured i would chime in because i too have had this irritated throat, hard to breathe thing happen-
and it was from blue mist juices as well-
thankfully the two other juice vendors i have tried(rawr vapor and kick bass vapor)i have not had this problem with-
and i use pg as the larger percentage in the juices i order, so i know it isnt the pg-

You know what organic means...expensive, no big if it's worth it to you. I haven't bought into the organic pitch yet. You should see how they raise some of the "free ranging" chickens. :)

Dekang "claims" their juice is natural. I don't believe it, but vape them anyway coz I do like their tobacco flavors and juice quality/price. I know there are a few vendors who claim they're "organic", but can't remember which threads, am sure you can find them if not yet.

I'm not a Vegan or even a committed user of organic products. However, my main juice supplier (VapeRite) has a big line of "natural" and "certified organic" juices that I love. Not because of the label, but because of the taste. They are house extracted (as opposed to using flavor concentrates). To me the taste difference is like the difference between orange Kool Aid and fresh squeezed orange juice. Worth a couple of extra bucks a week.

I have noticed that some of the flavors I've gotten recently make me cough and give me a hard TH, which I don't likeat all. I prefer the smooth flavor, not fighting the tickly feeling. I ordered 2 flavors from Liberty-flights last week with my Riva kit, and they both destroy my throat and make me cough. 90/10 blend, mainly PG (most of my juices are 100% PG), and 0 nic (always).

Glad you found something you're comfortable with...and like. Happy vaping. :)

Try reducing the PG%? I could not handle too much PG, scratches my throat, so I vape high % VG, lose some flavor maybe.

Has Caged written back? How's the throat? Did you try Dekang yet?

Did not try Dekang yet. It is on my list but I had ordered so many juices from other vendors that I couldn't justify it (plus i think I read a post from you saying you thought Dekang was harsh when your order came in).

In any case, I got juice from Stormy, Good Prophets, ECBlend, and more from Vaperite so I am set for a while. Don't have the ECBlend yet, but so far so good with the others (Good Prophets can be a little harsh at first, but it mellows out nicely after sitting in your carto for a while).

This. There is a goodness in Vaperite that I don't get from others. Even when I get a little juice in my mouth, it's not so bad with them.

There's a huge difference between getting organic grass fed milk from a Dutch farmers market vs getting organic grass fed milk from the grocery store. The milk from the farmers market is simply unreal. I get the same thing with Vaperite.

Except, most of my other flavors are 100% PG, and they are perfectly fine. It's specifically the juices I got from liberty-flights that make me cough. Nothing else does.

OK, PG's not it then. It's definitely true that some juices are more irritating than others. I've had some prefilled cartos and other peppery juices that made me cough, as well as some Dekang knock offs.
