Stillare v2 question

I've been using my new stillare v2 for a couple days. It's beautiful and is an awesome addition to my collection.


My question is though, why does it seem so underpowered? I would have thought with gold contacts it'd be even more of a heavy hitter. Compared to other rba with same coil setups, the stillare seems "slower" to fully heat up. I sub ohm usually around .4 and it's strange and frustrating to see my coils "slowly" get to the point that other rba get to instantly.

Any my help would be great

for info I'm using

stillare v2
nemesis mod
orbtronic 18650
24 & 26 gauge .3-.4 ohm

I think I figured it out. My top cap pin was crooked and wasn't making a full connevtion

What mod are you using? I'm using a nemmy but will be placing her atop a stingray soon.

What setup do you use? I have an 8/9 wrap dual coil 24 gauge nano coil. Cotton.

What's your preferred draw? I'm at about 1/3 of the a lot open and it's pretty perfect

According to the voltage drop tests by jkuro over at Calivapers it has one of the lowest on the market right now. And no I normally vape it 3/4 open, this was an old pic showing how big the AFC is wide open .

BTW I'm running 0.45 duel 26g micros.

I assume you vape sub ohm. I use a short stubby wide bore drip tip which may be the reason for my slight issue, but does juice splatter in your mouth. Haha dirty question. I contactable have to clean the spit back protector hole. Thinking of just drilling it straight out. Never really liked the spit back either on the nimbus.

Yeah this is my only gripe with an otherwise perfect atty. Juice collects in between the driptip and top cap. According to some drilling out the top cap solves this.

Do you have the cartel drip tip. I have one on the way, hopefully it's long enough to reach the base of the reservoir

I don't have a Cartel tip, however I just found out that if you place a drip tip oring in the bottom it fills in the space nicely and helps with the spit back.

I've been using the cartel drip tip without the extra I ring and it's perfect. The tip is designed to sit all the way down and it's glorious with its massive bore.

I use a nemmy and will be getting my nemmy soon too. I use dual micro coils with cotton. Actually been doing the macro coil. 6 wraps 24 gauge center build at .28 ohms. You cannot go wrong with this atomizer.

I had a small issue with juice catching in the spit back protection cup thing where the drip tip sits. A dude mentioned throwing a small drip tip o ring into the bottom of the drip tip whole. That helped a lot. But for me using the cartel drip tip eleminated the juice spit back. Not to mention it looks cool as .... and has a huge bore so clouds for days.

Any questions shoot me a message. I'm pretty proficient with this atomizer now.

Since it appears that we are only three people here who own one of these head on over to Calivapers they have a thread going there. Build wise, I'm running twisted 28 duel micros with cotton.
