Stock Ego-c replacement cartridges and the difference between those and direct dripping

Hey everyone,

E-cigs finally got me to quit smoking, but I have a couple questions I can't seem to figure out on my own.

1. Does anyone know where I can find more of the clear plastic cartridges that come with the ego-c? Are they the same thing as a "drip tip."

2. Given the atomizer pierces directly into the cartridge (i.e., the atomizer tip is literally submerged in the e-juice), how is this method any different / less effective at delivering thick vapor and clear flavor than direct dripping techniques.

I ask because I purchased a tank clearomizer with wicks when I got the ego-c and it does not seem to provide as much vapor or as clean of a taste as the default type a atomizer with the cartridges. I am wondering if direct dripping will further improve my experience over the cartridges but can't logically figure out why that would be the case.

Well, I finally found the replacement cartridges on the joyetech website under the ego-t model. I assume they fit the C version.

I am still curious about my second question though.

Since I haven't seen the inside of an ego atomizer I can't say for sure why dripping generally produces better vapor and flavor. I can tell you after MUCH research that the veterans seem to use dripping as the standard to rate all other delivery systems. I started with the ego-c tanks too but I found they tasted kinda plasticy after awhile. Really loving my Vivi Nova clearomizer tanks now.
