I just stumbled on this forum while doing research on making customized e cigs... There's a lot of awesome info I have already found, and I'm looking forward to exploring more.
A little about myself, I smoked a pack a day for 10 years. I quit once for a year and a half (cold turkey!!) but alas, too many beers on my 25th birthday and I was sneaking them in again... That was a few years ago and I was really over the habit! It was hard to imagine quitting any time soon since I am studying engineering at a maritime academy (exponential stress!). Needless to say, I took the vape plunge and I am loving it!
Hope to learn lots more about vaping as time goes on.
And to any of you mechanical modders out there... You'll have to wait until I get rid of my 5 post training wheels to see the 4 aluminum battery tubes I machined today in a manufacturing processes class. I am taking pictures and videos of the process to put into a thread of the ground-up build. Any advice from those that have been down this route, or any links to helpful threads would be greatly appreciated!
