Agreed. Besides, I'd love to meet the person who thinks any old Joe Shmo can DIY my three ADV's. These flavors are so complex that I'm sure it took the creators a long time to perfect.

Lets take a juice named Carnage for example. It was created by Philip Rocke and tastes EXACTLY like Red Vines Candy. You couldn't get any closer to the real taste because this juice already tastes like the real thing.......So, where do I start in my journey to DIY Carnage? Who do I order the flavors from? What ratio am I going to mix them at? In what order do I mix each flavor?

For all we know, Philip Rocke created his own flavor extract for this juice.

Red Licorice (TPA) 6%
Strawberry (Ripe) (TPA) 4%
Swedish Gummy (TPA) 4%

Since you asked..
Don't knock it till ya try it..

If you did any reading in the DIY section, you'd be amazed at how knowledgeable the people there are.
Some of those "Joe Schmo's" as you call them, down in DIY topic are pretty durn gifted.

As a matter of fact, they were posting about certain inhalation risk chemicals that might be in ejuice 3-4+ years before any studies came out.

Many of the people in the DIY topics are better mixers than many of the vendors.....some have become vendors.......and some just don't want to actually go into business.

There were even some mixers who later became vendors that sought their advice down in those topics.

When you understand this, by reading there, you will see that probably a large number of folks down in DIY section could very well mix you up 3 "ADVs." :)

I agree - Some people I gather are in their dens and coming up with good recipes compared to some companies who have a lot more resources.

Also here's the flavor from Flavor West
http://flavorwest.com/index.php/review/product/list/id/42/category/10/

This is an exact taste replica of red vines in one flavoring, and it used to be named Red Vines too up until recently. This is probably the main base flavor used for your Carnage

This used to get bad reviews at Mt Baker because of the name made people expect red licorice not red vines, so everyone that hated red vines complained it tasted like that (by name) and they were expecting regular/modern Twizzlers type red licorice.

When people show up asking:

"Where can I find a vendor that makes 1.25 mg liquids?"

"Every (insert flavor here) I have tried sucks! Where else can I find a (insert flavor here) that doesn't taste like (expletive deleted)?"

"We're getting totally ripped off by these liquids places! Where are the places charging a nickel a ml?"

Yeah - chances are they might get a recommendation to look into DIY since we can't tell them where to purchase unobtanium.

I've even had a vendor suggest DIY to me, when I asked for higher-PG than they usually offer. Which is weird, because it's High Desert Vapes, and when I asked them last year if they could make a flavor 100% PG, they did -- but the next time I asked, they suggested that I might be happier with DIY, told me they didn't customize, and sent the default 70/30 mix. And right after that, I started making my own Banana Nut Bread -- 85% PG. :D So they suggested themselves right out of a customer. :D

So what if someone mentions DIY here and there. If you look you could find dozens of things that aren't 100 percent thread topic. I hope this forum doesn't ever become one of those policed forums where you see warnings and bans on a regular basis. We're adults we can work things out, if we need help we can ask for that. Jmho.

so, in case you do not know. we have a DiY sub-forums.

every single time someone here asks for juice advice, like half the replies are:
"you should just DiY", "no juice is as good as my DiY", "DiY is the cheapest", etc, etc.....

most people just want to buy a good juice, and not bother with DiY. if you do, then that's great. go to the DiY sub-forum.

if i said "hey i want to go out to dinner. what restaurants are good"? do you think i want to here:
"just make your own food at home" or "it's cheaper to eat at home, do that.?"

just saying.....

There are some people who are very concerned about you getting ripped off; so much so they are driven to irrational anger...
