Stop the atty gurgle with "The Lasso" and the "thermometer shake"

At my desk, I primarily use an Ego 510 VV USB Passthrough to save my batteries for when I'm on the run. Love the little thing, cheap, easy, reliable as all get-out. With a HH357 2ohm at 3.6 volts (6.5 watts) I never get a burned taste. Only problem I have is when I get a little ambitious with the drips, and a little juice gets past the coil and gurgles. I've found an easy fix, I just hold the cord about 12" out from the mod, and give her a relaxed twirl 3 or 4 times around. Sends the juice back up above the coil, and no gurgle.

I guess after awhile, it may wreck the wiring, but at $13, I'm not going to sweat it. I'm pretty gentle when I do it, and I've been at it a month without problems. Works with a batt too, doing the "thermometer shake", but you have to remember to remove the drip tip, or you might hit someone in the eye. ;)

You can do the same thing by taking several quick hits without power. The idea is to just draw the fluid back up into the atty.
I use a drip shield, and will over drip about half the time letting the shield work like a small tank.

I've seen the shields, and it looks like an interesting idea. Do they still gurgle? Do they spill when you lay them on their side? I've tried the quick draws, but as often as not, it seems like I get fluid in my mouth. Can't stand the taste.

I just had a gurgling vivi nova, and tried a massive draw without power. Got juice on the back of my tongue and used a paper towel to wipe it off, then started gagging. Thanks TJ.
Just kidding about the semi sarcastic remark. Good tip, but I'll be a little less exuberant next time. :)
