Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I've been bit hard by the e-cig movement as of late. Been smoking the analogs for almost 10 years and convinced myself I would quit with the help of hookah. That hobby lasted about 3 years or so where I really just ended up smoking both all day long and dropping tons of money on both habits. I tried a little joye 510 a couple years ago when people were still using cartridges stuffed with tea bags. That only lasted a little while where I still fell back into my bad habits.
Over the past month I've done some research for myself and joined this great forum. I was blown away by the advancements in just a couple years. The juice is much better as is the tech. I was super confused when I started looking at VV and resistances..
I think I've got it mostly figured out now and am enjoying two ego twist's with boge carto's/smoktek atty's. I just received my first mod, a gripper VV, and vivi nova tank. Love this setup for the house and the ego's to go. I've been experimenting with DIY but so far haven't been very pleased with my results. I don't know how they do it but the vendors' juices taste much better than mine. I've tried steeping and varying % of flavor. So far everything has been very bland and perfumey.. Still need some practice. I read a lot of good reviews about capella's so I just ordered some fresh nic/pg/vg and maybe 10 different flavors to try out. So far my favorites are tobaccoey, coffee and menthol/mint/fruit flavors. Not a fan of the sweet desserts.
Also the best part - haven't bought a pack of cigarettes in a month and my hookah is feeling insanely neglected. I do indulge in the occasional hookah but in comparison - my used to be favorite hookah flavors are severely lacking compared to some of the vendor ejuice flavors I've tried. BWB and TastyVapor's having some of my favorites so far. I'm trying out some JuicyVapor flavors right now in my new vivi/gripper and they seem to be a bit hit or miss for me as well. Still experimenting though and trying out different flavors to see where I fall.
