Storage Question:

I looked around (new'ish member) & couldn't locate a forum
that would better suit my question, so shooting here, sorry for any inconvenience.

I have been crafting my own personal storage containers & cannot seem to
find a decent type of foam for holding my e-cigs. They are wooden storage
containers & am fully capable of craving the foam down to size, carving out
the e-cig slots & all. Just need the simple "point in the direction" of a good type
of dense foam. (not incredibly pliable.)

Thank you in advance.

How about styrofoam?

Styrofoam just looks bad & seems to have too many air-pockets throughout it.
Yes, it's easy to cut with an exact-o knife, but even applying a material like felt
to the outside is a pain, due to the air-pockets.
Also, kind of a pain when using a routing tool to carve the slots for e-cigs,
batteries, etc to be held in.
