Last night 9/6/13, The Refined Vaper store in Austin Texas was burglarized. Smash and grab in the middle of the night. The owners Rob and Mike are long time ECF members and have been great members of the vaping business community since the beginning with their business LiquidXpress. Please spread the word and be on the look-out for any of the mods and attys listed below. Posts have been made on many of the Facebook vaping pages. Any suspicious selling or trading can be reported directly to them at (855) 242-0262.

The below list only covers the mods and attys that can easily be distinguished. A lot high-end juice, all their wire and wick, as well as protanks were stolen as well.

-Nzonics with serial #'s in the 2700's
-Astros with serial #'s in the 570's
-Kayfun lites
-Cyclones
-Nimbus clones (These are the only Nimbus clones with brass thumb screws on the posts, nobody else sells these)
-Empire Mod, camo
-Empire Mod, hot pink
-Provari's
-Provari mini's

Sorry to hear about this. I'm a glassblower at a head shop/glass gallery in Katy, Tx.
We've been broken in to 4 times in the last year with over $100k in merch stolen (one of a kind glass art- most of it I made). We installed HD cameras and an HD DVR and caught all but one of the [moderated], prosecuted and won in court. I suggest you do the same. It's cheap insurance. Make sure it's HD, though. That's the only way it's submisible (spelling?) in court in Texas.

Sorry, Should have made it clear. Not my store but seen it posted in one of the vaping auction places so thought I'd post info here. Yes Shatner, Crummy times. Glad you were able to get it prosecuted!

I hope they get caught! Rotten stinking low life thieves! But I have more respect for a good old fashion honest to goodness thief vs most anyone in Washington! I posted this on a couple of other sights also.

Having had this happen in my Own small business I truly feel for the owners. Words cannot describe the mental Violation and stress this type of crime puts one through.
Focus on tomorrow and let yesterday fade.

Horrible - I looked at the photos of their opening day on Facebook, and it just breaks my heart. I hope the thieves are caught.

I think thieves should be stabbed near to death with a thumbtack. Hopefully they get their stock returned and the scum that did it get some serious time for it.

Sometimes I wish our punishments were more like China....get caught doing things like this and lose a hand. You won't ever do it more than twice.

Ill keep an eye out. Im just a little north of Austin but being in the local college maybe someone knows or heard something. That kind of stuff doesnt move itself and I doubt someone is vaping multiple provaris. I had a guy a few days ago at school ask me if I wanted to buy a hookah pen (IKR???) So ill catch him after class and see what he has.

Man, that's just awful.
The wife and I wandered into the store on opening day (didn't realize it was opening day) and met the crew. Went back on Tuesday to pick up some LX juices and talk shop with Mike and Rob. Great group of folks at TRV.

I will be keeping an eye out for any items being sold around Austin/Georgetown that fits the description of what I saw in the store.
Unfortunately, I agree that the burglar bar idea may be a wise move. Nice store in a good area, but not exactly easy to find/see unless you know where it is.
