I had decided to store mine in our basement where it stays very cool and dark 24/7. But, I'm a little concerned it may get too cool. It's a semi-finished basement and gets pretty cool, even in the summer since the a/c ducts run through there. Since food service folks tell me refrigerators are set at 38-40 degrees, I'm wondering if keeping my juice in the basement could end up being the same as the refrigerator.
Any long-time basement stashers have advice?

Cliff--there are many "basement" players here--all no issues reported.

Been searching this refrigerator issue here in the forum and there seems to be cross opinions. As a relative newbie, I am curious. I did purchase a bunch of small bottles to try different flavors. But, I have already found a few I prefer and bought some 30ml sizes. I immediately poured some 5 ml of each for daily use. Now, trying to decide how to store the remainder in the bigger bottles.

Where I live it is very dry (desert) and summertime gets pretty warm! I have each 30 ml size in its own plastic bag (not vac'd - don't have a sealer) and then the batch I a quart size zip-lock bag with air pushed out.

So, I have to decide about using a fridge drawer or a cabinet in something dark. The fridge is dehumidified and most of summer is under 40% humidity. The drawer is not as cool as the main compartment but still probably under 50 degrees. The problem if I use a cabinet (no basements here either) is that the house can get close to 80 many summer days. It is not as bad as it sounds on the body because of the very low humidity. certainly not going to AC the house down to 70 for my juice! ;)

After searching, there seem to be just as many posts recommending fridge as against (this thread and certainly poster Sun)!

Advice greatly appreciated!

I must be a super vape head because I dont have most of my juice around long enough to worry about storage..........................BUT............................

I do keep extra spare batts in the fridge...learned this somewhere....Full charge, ziplock bag, in a container and on top shelf.

I use a tin for my juice, all kept in smaller bottles and in drawer as well...........the tin stays cool.

Ok now this thread got me paranoid.........just put my extra juice in the fridge......

E Liquid is much like olive oil and wine.

It should be out of direct or even indirect lighting and in a cool, dark environment.
It will last longer and maintain it's purity that way.

It most certainly can be placed in the fridge but should go into one of those butter compartments, not just sitting on the rack.

Some have even suggested to freeze it.
Not a good idea at all.
