We are getting slammed here with a snowstorm. Electricity went out about an hour ago. Guess who had only ONE battery charged and no way to charge my others.

I will be ordering a car adapter first thing Monday morning. Hopefully my one battery and pass thru will hold me over until they get the power back on. I am posting this from my blackberry. I have 2 laptops to run my pt off of, until those batteries die.

How are you other posters from the mid-Atlantic holding up? We have around 15 inches here outside of D.C. Right now.

My usb charger is at my boyfriends place. :(

Going to do my best to stay warm. No heat so I hope the electricity doesn't stay out for too long. Thank goodness I have my blackberry, I can't sleep so this is the only thing keeping me occupied. The silence here is scary, funny how we get so used to everyday white noise. I can hear my dog breathing and she is downstairs.

Yeah this is a pretty Historic (top5) storm.

Hang in there, I am hoping your power comes back on soon.

You still have a ways to go, I thought I heard the snow doesn't stop till 10 tonight.

Really depends on what grid your on.............the closer to a hospital the sooner the power comes on. Stuff like that factors in.

Oh No................. Shame on you for not preparing for this storm.

I certainly hope you make it......... you can always go buy a generator at Lowe's and you'll be set for life...................just saying.

Or you can come down to Williamsburg and borrow my electricity.

Good luck

Ha ha :) I would need to get out of my driveway first. My luck I buy a generator then the electricity never goes out again. Or I would have the generator and no gasoline. I just fail at planning ahead. I did stock up on diet coke and food for my dogs though :)

I'm here in fairfax too. i was suppose to fly out of reagan national to miami yesterday but our flight got cancelled! :( flying out tomorrow morning instead. lots of snow out there. not looking forward to the shoveling. but, i didn't lose electricity. also, i got my Chuck and batteries to go with it yesterday morning. they're fully charge and ready to go :)

btw, if anyone is interested - V4L cartos and the Chuck is a great combination! consistent draw, hit, and vapor. i'm using it at 3.7 and it works as good, if not better, than the PT. and the 3.7v 18650 Li-Ion battery lasts a good long time :)

We have 18 inches of snow and still falling. County has issued a disaster emergency and limiting what vehicles are permitted on the roads (like they could go anywhere, anyway). Power failing for thousands. Under old circumstances, I would be counting cigarettes and trying to to guess how long they will last.

It's good to be the vapor king..... :D

Good thing to think about. I'm in Florida so no snow storms here. Every once in a while I do lose power for a couple hours at least due to lightening storms, sometimes car accidents.
If it catches me at at time when all my batteries are dead. I can be lazy about keeping them all charged. It wouldn't be a good thing. Next order think I ll get the car charger. I didn't think I had any need for it but it could be a good insurance policy

ugh! I noticed on 511virginia that the roads around DC are purple. Still snowing in Roanoke... but we have power! Not that we want to use it. Our bill from last month was $642. Think of all the juice and cartos I coulda bought... :p

Hang in there, Michelle! So what are you doing to stay warm? I'd be in a sleeping bag with gloves on vaping away. ;)

My sister's in DC and she sent pics from the storm earlier this year. Wow DC doesn't normally get this much snow does it? Because yeah I think it was like 16in the week before Christmas too. Sounds more like MN weather.
I really hope your batts hold out for you. Probably pretty hard not to chain vape as it is :(

DC definately does not get snow like this normally. Most winters we can go the whole season with 6 inches total for 4 months. This winter has been insane. The last time I remember it snowing this much was a storm in 95/96. That one closed the area down for a week.

I was finally able to fall asleep and woke up to POWER! First thing I did was start charging batteries. I am not going to bank on the power staying on for the rest of this storm.

Funny thing- My parents live with me part time and in North Dakota part time. They are there now and it looks like we traded weather.

Wow, I hope your flight goes tomorrow. Please be very careful getting to the airport.

Same here, I never expected a reason to need one. Now I definitely know I need one. I do not spend long hours in the car so I never thought to get one. When faced with the strong possibility that I would be without power for 2 to 3 days I was very scared this morning. Not just for my vaping but for my heat and sanity too ;) Thank goodness it is back on now. I will post a few pics soon.
