STR8V8PING SLIVER VV mod

Here goes another one This one turned out beautiful . I call it the SLIVER . I found the case laying around and had to mod it . It used to be black so i did a custom silver pearl paintjob and airbrushed a crazer type tarnished effect with some Candy black paint over the silver pearl . The 4 coats of clear . Came out sweet . I also made in the window in the rear for the voltage meter with tinted Plexiglass so its invisible until it on . Also Lit it up with LED shining through the grill area with diffuser behind it to spread light . The Potentiometer is also lit up with LEDs . I then printed up some decals of the name to fit in the recessed ovals of the case .In the battery compartment theres also a slot to hold a 3ml bottle of juice . Features include .

Blacked out Voltage meter
Stacked 14500 batts
-Drip cup
-Hidden juice compartment
-Battery cover
-Recessed Name plates
-Custom Paintjob
- LED design in Grille
-5A stainless steel button

Nice job! The grill with diffusers, the paint work, the tinted out display, all great. Only thing I'd change is that since it is a bit larger, justify this by adding a 3rd battery in the slot as the juice bottle is just a placeholder really.

I love it Great work As for the size to me it's not a problem I like showing that I vape in a big way LOL Had a quetion though How do the PTR08100 perform and/or are different from the OKR-T. I noticed that the PTR's are like 16 + dollars are they really worth it?

Stacking 3 batts is not the safest thing to do . I usually dont like stacking two li-ions .

I could see it hidden in with the remotes that paint job is sick! very nice work.

The case is a old 1980's TV remote .

WIsh i could go into business however with a much work as i do now i wouldnt have the time to do more than one mod a week .

It is a little big but its not bad . I usually use the OKR chips but i had a bunch of 08100's . THey perform just as good in every way ,maybe better if it werent for needing caps .

AUtomotive skills indeed . I own a automotive paintwork and lighting retrofit company . The voltage display window is cut by hand the grille is a original part of the case .

Nice work...I like the blackout on the meter also...if we could get smaller blue meters it would be ok to have visible but not the red ones we have to work with. What do you have the caps wired to...or are you just moving them to an easier location?
