Straight vg ? Need help.

Hi .
I started diy-ing and i dont have the usp grae vg since i dont live in usa.Im experiencing a weird taste but im not sure if its the vg or the flavours so is it ok if i drip pure vg in my dripper to check if this weird flavour is coming from my vg or not.
Cant post in thw diy liquid sub forum for some reason.

I've dripped VG onto a coil in my rda before and vaped it with no issue. Don't take my word for it though, I'd do some more reading!

Should be fine to do that. There's all VG juice on the market, except for flavoring I don't see how it's any different by itself than it is mixed with PG and flavors.

It will just produce the normal vapor you're used to, only with no flavor and no nicotine. There could be residual flavor from anything you've dripped on that coil before though.

Unflavored VG will have a slightly sweet taste when vaping it - but nothing other than that.

It sounds like you need to have a hard look at that VG and determine if it's safe for consumption or not. You can get aloe products made for consumption - and then there's the aloe products you apply to your skin but wouldn't think of ingesting them. Same goes for VG.

Try a 95% VG, 5% distilled water solution. Since DW is flavorless, you'll still be able to see if the weird taste is coming from the VG without dripping straight VG.

since you seem to have a hard time finding USP glycerin, find what you can in your area and read the list of ingredients and see if it lists more than glycerin.... if it does, I would continue looking for glycerin that states 100% or at least 97.6% and water being the remainder of the volume...

When I used a dripper, I dripped vg just to clean the flavor out of my wick so I know that is safe. I would however consider finding a place to purchase your vg from that is usp grade. Good luck to you.

Sure you can drip 100% VG of course there will be no taste or odorless. Some people are allergic to high VG, so outside of an allergic effect there is no reason you can't experiment with 100% VG.
