I've had an intermittent problem like that, but only with one particular atty (Ikenvape Cannon, 2.5Ω).

My Classic Buzz isn't fazed by it—it only happens with the Pro. Is it possible that the atty resistance is borderline and the protection circuits are cutting in?

most likely it is a shorting our problem , does the red LED come on when you hit the button ?? this usually indicates a short.

Well, the hubby is being lazy and I still haven't gotten him to put a hole in a fusion. I would do it myself, but I really hate to start wasting cartos when I screw up seeing as he has it down now and already wasted one or two already before he got it down. When I do get him out there I am going to have him slot the entire bag of 20 so this does not happen again.

It seems though that my problem has stopped and the bum carto has been working fine since late last night!!! Correct me if I am wrong, but the Buzz pro has protection so using the picky carto won't hurt it.

Two questions.

Would switching to the regular cartos avoid this problem or do regular cartos short on on occasion as well?

Would putting a little rubbing alcohol on a q-tip and using it to clean off the top cap and screw in there hurt anything?

The Buzz Pro is protected so no worries there Moo , any carto /atty can short or open just the way it is , I would use a dry napkin or Q-tip to clean no alcohol it is thin and can leak into the unit .

OK, I have changed the carto and still it is not working right. It worked OK for a day or so, but now tonight it is acting up again. Went to vape and this time the blue light came on but there was nothing. So I took my tank off and put it on the hubbies BP and it worked fine, but the hubbies would not work on mine. I loosened the carto and tightened the carto and the only change was that sometimes the blue light came on but no vape and others no blue light. In short both tanks worked perfectly on his BP and neither worked on mine.

The hubby took it out to the shop to play with it. He messed with the screw in the top cap loosening the screw and tightening the screw. Regardless of where the screw was the only way he could get it to work was by having the tank so loose it was wobbling. He finally got it working to were the tank is tight enough that it won't fall off, but he has had to mess with the screw a ton of times before this evening. I have been hoping the problems have been bad cartos, but usually they work perfectly on his. I am starting to think (and I do not want to say this because I DO NOT WANT TO PART WITH MY BUZZ) that something is not right with it. We do never have to mess with his BP, it just works. We always have to tinker with mine.

And before it gets asked, we checked and there is a spacer!

OK... I do not want to get to technical here, because I will get it wrong... but while I was posting above the hubby was playing with it some more and he says he has fixed it. Hope this info helps someone else. It seems that the screw inside that holds on the screw on the outside of the top cap, was too loose. So it was slidong up and down. He tightened the screw on the inside, got the screw on the outside to a good height and it seems to be working! We will have to see. I hope my explanation made sense!

Guess he messed it up when he changed the top cap a few weeks ago.

I am glad to. I sent off all my old ecig stuff (as you know) and did not want to send my buzz off to be fixed. I did keep one tornado battery and one charger just in case, but really don't ever want to use it again! As soon as I get an infinity, the tornado battery will be sent AG!

It has been an hour now and my Buzz has not been finicky yet... And I think it is vaping better as well. So far so good!

Oh... I thought it was suggested when I had a few cartos not firing that if I adjusted the top screw it would fix that, so I adjusted it a bit and it did fix things for a short while! Guess I misunderstood! Sorry, my bad. But since he fixed the issue with that screw everything is working fine. A whole day has gone by with no annoying carto issues! Kind of makes me wish I hadn't tossed those cartos I thought were bad.

I'm glad to hear your BP is not mistreating you anymore Moo :)

Thanks! I am on day 2 since the fix and it is working like a dream! I had gotten so used to messing with it to get it work right (even then it was the best PV I have used) now it is completely hassel free! I also think I was changing the battery sooner then needed because of this issue! Often I thought the battery was dead when it wasn't firing, so the extra battery life was a big plus.
