I have read a couple others posts similar to this but I thought it may be worthy to share my story anyway:
I received a brand new dse 901 starter kit a few days ago began using it upon arrival. This was around 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The atomizer that I used was out of the same box and was as standard 901 atomizer. I added some juice to it and let it set for a about 3 mins. I did not clean the atty before using it. Some people say do some say don't, Im still trying to figure out what works for me. Vaped on it and had the most disgusting primer taste I have ever experienced. I did not think much about it. However it did not go away. I blew the atty out and re-primed it but the taste was still there. I must have puffed on that thing 50 times before deciding that something was not right and put it away.
I realize that there is usually some primer upon arrival from new attys, and that (besides the fact that the taste did not go away) this is fairly routine.
The rest of the night was horrible. I felt sick, nauseas, I could not get the taste or smell to go away. I went out to eat with some friends and EVERYTHING in the buffet smelled and/or tasted like primer (primer flavored pizza was the worst). I also had a metallic taste in my mouth that would not go away. I also felt jumpy irritable, hyper, and paranoid.
The effects finally wore off at around midnight that night (maybe closer to 1 am).
I suppose I am asking what people's opinions are on what might have caused such a reaction?
I have never had that problem with any other atomizer since that incident.
Any thoughts, opinions, and/or comments are most welcome.
Cheers,
VMS
